When you start quoting Rudy, evidence has fled screaming into the night...

But I'm impressed with those who face bullets with bullshit...

True allegation, not false. And it was done to protect Dirty Don's election chances more than his sham family. Gibbering Giuliani lies as readily as his client.

Trump "loyalists" are flipping faster than pancakes at iHop. Cohen flipped harder than a cheap hooker at a liquor convention. Manafort flipped then kept on lying. That should buy him a Ph.D. at Pen State. Flynn flipped, ADI flipped, National Inquirer's CFO, and CEO flipped, and the list keeps right on growing. Now the kids are involved in a criminal enterprise investigation, the Trump Foundation. New York is handling that one, no pardons possible. Feel free to expand the list of players.

Lawyers and political operatives keep advising Trump to shut up to no avail. It's too late anyway. Given Trump's shady connections and shadier deals, the time to shut up was coming down that escalator two long years go. Trump is really a stupid and arrogant man; a horrible combination amplified by a supernova sized ego. The cat isn't just out of the bag, all the cages in the zoo collapsed and the lions and tigers are running loose. Still, Trump's bionic mouth can't be stilled and his credibility is inversely proportional to the number of Tweets.

Cohen has now come to Jesus and promises to air all the sins of father Trump himself. That fact the Cohen is a liar doesn't really matter, every lie will be put under a microscope by an army of eager investigators. It will be great grist for the MSM. Legends will be made. Recent events glaringly show Trump has no friends, just partners in crime. After all the indictments, trials, pleas, flips, sentencing, and prison time, one thing has become clear, Trump will go down very hard. And, in the end, nobody will care that he goes to jail.

Whispers of impeachment have turned into howls on the left and deathly silence on the right. Pelosi felt quite comfortable snotting off to the President of the United States. Schumer set him up on a government shutdown. Trump took the bait and Schumer just smiled and shook his head in amazement. Things are going to get worse. A lot worse. If anybody in the GOP had a pair, they'd march into the Oval Office and tell Trump the game was over and leaving town is a good idea. Instead, because of some unidentified terminal cowardice, they will go down in flames with him. His base will go nuts, even more nuts than now.

At the end, champaign corks will be popping all over the world.

I knew you would run from the Edward's case where the government argued the exact same thing and lost.

Next time don't bother replying if you are going to run away from the evidence and case history.

Edwards did the same thing and the government lost.

You really should actually educate yourself on the case history and evidence.

Pure emotional desire isn't going to win it for you.

    Does "Anti-Semitism" ring a bell?

Anyway, it is getting to the point that anyone associated with Trump is going to be negotiating a plea deal.

I read a case just today, some crook real estate developer’s criminal lawyer is going to prison. Partly due to crimes he was directed to commit by his boss.

Cohen is hoping he can sing (even more) and get a sentence reduction.

    That is a GOOD thing.:salute:

Based on what I’ve seen he seems willing to talk to mueller, but hasn’t been very forthcoming with the SDNY. Likely because he doesn’t wanna admit to any of his other crimes but wants to talk about trumps instead.

So we agree that Trump didn't take/withdraw money from his campaign funds to pay Daniels, right? The argument here is the "intent" of the expenditure of funds, correct?

Reveal the Congressional Hush Fund Hypocrites

How many of Trump's accusers are guilty of the very infraction they accuse him of?

Not remotely running from it... Just pointing out, as the following article does, that the differences are way more than the similarities, and won't bother (in the future) respond to those that continue to say otherwise.

    https://abovethelaw.com/2018/12/sto...mpaign-finance-fraud-with-john-edwardss-case/

Regardless, once Trump is indicted and tried for this crime, then we'll know for sure where Trump falls on the scale of illegal campaign finance violations...

I do not believe that "exceeding the personal contribution limit" is the only charge and the fact that Cohen was reimbursed by the trump campaign means that they tried to characterize that money as a "loan" not a contribution.

Furthermore, directing someone to exceed the contribution is a violation on behalf of the person giving the order.

So no, trump still committed a felony according to federal prosecutors.

Can a candidate spend money from their own personal checking account directly towards a campaign and have that money be classified as campaign funds?

Also, did the Trump campaign admit in FEC filings that they owed that specific amount of money to Cohen?
