    You would be wrong, as usual...

    If a state ignored the ruling, who would be authorized to do anything about and what precisely could they even do? I'll wait...

    ANYONE who was HARMED by the illegal and unconstitutional actions of that state would have standing to file a lawsuit against them and WIN.

    And thanks for proving that I was correct regarding your dearth of subject matter knowledge WRT the Law of the Land.

    Needless to say you are equally incapable of producing anything remotely credible to substantiate your own bogus allegation in this regard...as usual!

    Marriage is a fundamental right....the Court upheld gay marriage because marriage is a fundamental right, and can't be denied to gay people via the Equal Protection and Due Process clause of the 14th Amendment. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fundamental_rights#United_States

    Not my problem if your lack of subject matter knowledge prevents you from understanding the answers.

    It wasn't a hard question, you didn't answer because you don't know...

    No, it's a fundamental right....all rights can be challenged...but just like the enunmerated rights, the law challenging it must get past strict scrutiny test...

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strict_scrutiny
    "
    In American constitutional law, strict scrutiny is the highest and most stringent standard of judicial review, and results in a judge striking down a law unless the government can demonstrate in court that a law or regulation:

    1. is necessary to a "compelling state interest";
    2. that the law is "narrowly tailored" to achieving this compelling purpose;
    3. and that the law uses the "least restrictive means" to achieve the purpose."

    Obviously the answer was too hard for you to grasp.

    It is dangerous to try and engage @Derideo_Te into anything substantial. You'll be swamped with 'thank you for proving me right" and "you do not understand" and "too hard for you to grasp" and "not my problem" and many other valuable insights! :D

    If it's so obvious spell it out with the authoritative agencies and relevant federal laws. I'll wait...

    For those who support Bernie, what is stopping you from walking the walk? You could find a group of like-minded people and pull resources for the greater good. Why don't you?
