Crap. Just bought another knife. But it's bad ass. The remorse should dissolve when I get it in the mail.

A collaborative effort by Kaviso and Kirby called Raine. It has a lot of my boxes checked, S35VN Drop Point Recurve blade, carbon fiber, flipper tab, Titanium bolster and frame.

    A work of art.

Ya, its nice n all. I have a pretty nice knife collection. Some Bucks, a Solingen, a few antiques... My favorite knife is the one I always have when I need it. And thats the one that I keep on my keychain ...that never gets confiscated at the airport.

I thought you were going to tell me you bought a new motorcycle for a minute. Lol.

I spent 60 bucks on a new knife the other day. A nice little tiny fixed blade Case it comes with a leather sheath and it has the leather rings around the handle.

Eh... I'll have the knife a lot longer than I'll have the 60 bucks.

It'll work, for a while. WD-40 is known to eventually harden, turning into a viscous paste and eventually an indestructible crust. Could be years tho. You'll wanna clean it and use something better eventually.

Speaking of Solingen, I have a Police edition Solingen given to me as a present. I don't care for the action or the materials but it's a nice addition to my collection.

~ If I can get the slide open I will indeed give it a proper cleaning and lube. With a round in the chamber I may shoot myself first .. !! :shh:

Sweet knife. I've got a number of expensive knives myself but tend to never carry them lol.

What is always in my pocket is this sucker. It's an amazing pocket knife.

Dude, at least drop some of the names of manufacturers whose knives you have.

Kershaw makes good stuff, I've had one or two but they got packed up with some other knives before the last time we moved and now I don't know where they are. :(

I've only got one SOG so far, the Pillar. It's really the only SOG I'd spend money on.

My camp knife is an ESEE Junglas. I also usually carry a CRKT Sting as a boot knife when hiking.

I like Cold Steel knives too. Civivi makes some good stuff. I have their Praxis and a couple others.

I was talking to a buddy about the Praxis, I'm a fan. I have an elementum folder as well as the fixed blade version.

Nearly pulled the trigger on the Cold Steel Razor Tek, bad ass knife, but I saw this first.

Looking to add at least one ESEE to the collection at some point. You have great taste in knives.

ESEE's are great camp knives. They're THICK and full tang. They are a high carbon steel though so you've got to keep them oiled.

They also have a no questions asked replacement policy if you break one. I've beaten the hell out of mine batoning wood and it just laughs and asks for more.

I'm more of a quality over quantity kind of guy. I'd rather spend my money on one good knife than a bunch of cheap ones, although there are a lot of great knives out there that are sub $100. Especially when it comes to a working knife.

I like carrying a Kershaw or Cold Steel for daily usage. Great knife for the money and I won't cry too hard if I break or lose one.

My Cold Steel Spartan is another favorite when I feel like carrying a pocket sword ;)
