    Evidently YOU haven't seen pictures of their outdoor encampment areas which are already clustered tightly together. In motels or hotels I am assuming they would have SEPERATE ROOMS??????

    what is the rights solution to this during this pandemic?

    people are not traveling, so this helps the poor and the hotels at the same time

    "Newsom signed an executive order Thursday expanding the state’s authority to seize private property, including hotels, to use in the state’s response to coronavirus."

    This is utter madness. If the State wants private property they should pay the owner 10% over what the market value was before the virus hit.

    Someone will defend their property, and someone will get killed, and only then will libs understand how bad an idea this is...

    yep, same with Trump taking peoples property to build his wall or pipelines

    I woudl say 200% of the market value if anything... maybe more as often market value does not take into account the personal worth of the property, family history, ect....

    Why wasn't their proximity to one another an issue when typhus and tuberculosis were spreading?

    At least this virus is showing us who all the little dictators are. Remember them. One or more might run for president in the future. Too many liberal tyrants have abandoned our Constitution and violating our rights at the drop of hat. That will never change...

    Bullshit. If we had done that when the news first broke. The virus would not be here. This is not rocket science.

    This pandemic has demonstrated perfectly to me what a tiny thread our civilization is hanging by. A bunch of freaks with no thought for their fellow citizens emptied all our local stores of toilet paper, hand sanitizer, eggs, hamburger and canned goods. For all of the moral preening and virtue signaling that modern Americans do, the slightest sign of distress and we immediately engage in selfish behavior guaranteed to negatively impact our neighbors and community. If any person on this board engaged in that type of behavior, make no mistake, you are one of the worst people.... I wish we could have people like that horsewhipped in public.

    Several countries including Ireland and the USA have proposed using hotels as emergency hospital space should the need arise.
