    The mass exodus continues.

So, housing cost isn't the only reason people are fleeing California.

The blue state model of higher taxes and regulation are also culprits.

    Go figure.

This is disastrous. They will migrate into good states and turn them bad.

It won't be long until illegals start equaling the numbers of residents and then they will begin electing them into office.

Shortly after that they will pass a law making Spanish the major language of the state and we can welcome in the new Mexico.

Just confirming how the progressive experiment is working out in California.

SF Bay Area experiences mass exodus of residents, leading to a shortage of U-Haul trucks and sky-high prices for scarce outbound trucks

In many cities in California illegal aliens already outnumber American citizens.

I live in Wacissa...it's about 25 miles east of Tallahassee, where I basically grew up and do most of my business. Been here on the river for a little over 7 years now. Paradise.

I lived in Jacksonville off and on for 20 years....Navy brought me there in 1985, and I just stayed after I separated in late '93 until around 2005, when I moved back closer to home. Lived at the Century 21 apartments off of Atlantic Blvd.... bought a house in the Glenlea neighborhood (1120 Ibis Rd).... lived in Ponte Vedra (52 South Roscoe Blvd) and in a little neighborhood across the street from Winn Dixie there on Solano Rd.... lived off of Beach Blvd, off of Southside Blvd....bought a few Harleys from Adamec over the years (was pretty heavy into 'the life' back in the day), and once or twice a year, I've been known to sneak over to play in Texas Holdem tournaments at Best Bet off of Monument or Orange Park off of Roosevelt near Wells.

TMI, but I had a good time in Jax. sometimes I'm surprised I survived it. lol

lol, yep, Century 21 was a pretty cool place back then...meat market bar right on the premises, but it really went to the dogs.
Sin City, for sure...back in my biker days, I may have drank a beer, or 200, with Herbie at the Neighborhood Tavern... right there in the middle of it... off of Atlantic .

Wacissa is about 25 miles ESE of Tallahassee and maybe 25 miles inland from the Gulf. The Wacissa River is fed by 12 springs and is crystal clear and cold, and it feeds into the Aucilla River which runs into the Gulf.

Don't worry, we're just sending the illegals. We import them from Mexico and then ship them out to red states.

The middle class are leaving California. Illegals aren't middle class & they're not leaving. And why should they. You give them everything they need at the American taxpayers expense.

I haven't hunted in 35 years, so I'm not personally familiar with the hunting out here, but I've been to a number of Opening Day
get-togethers where fresh venison was served, and never heard any complaints. White tail doe and turkey are in my yard fairly often, and occasionally a black bear or coyote will stop by for a visit.

I'm not a big freshwater fisherman...grew up fishing the Gulf of Mexico... but the bream and small mouth bass are plentiful in the river...the bass, though, are challenging to catch because of the clear water -- success requires some accurate casting to hit the small clearings in the grass cover. They tease a hole in the grass with the first pop from 30 or 40 feet away, then put it back in the same spot. I suck at it, but watching the old-timers work an area is pretty entertaining, if not down right amazing.

Good. As long as they avoid the fiscal mistakes of their home state's government, they might bring some better social change to "middle America".

About time. I'm hoping for something of an ideological synthesis though. Or at least a decline in religion in most conservative states.

As fast as they leave, hoards of starry eyed Gen Z'ers will move in. As backup to keep the Ponzi scheme going, the dems will keep importing illegals for cheap labor.

This started in earnest in the 1990's, and a lot of these 'expatriate' Kalifornians poured into other Western states, like Oregon, Washington, Nevada, and, unfortunately, my own state of Colorado.

What an odd combination of conflicting viewpoints and beliefs they are! On one hand, they were sick of the rotten, f*cked-up mess that California turned into, but, with them they brought all their old, inbred hyperliberal, tax-and-spend, America-hating political behaviors. Now, my beloved Colorado, with its dense pockets of ex-Kalifornians, has spiraling sales and property taxes, sanctuary cities (including one of the biggest -- Denver), a large and growing population of homeless "camper" bums, Mexican criminal gangs, and stupidly higher prices for everything.

If the rest of the United States was smart, we'd give the State of California its heart's desire and let it SECEDE! Let it become its own separate, crime-wracked, über-liberal, 'shithole' nation -- and build a wall on the U. S.- California border, to keep all those crazy bastards from doing any more damage to the rest of us!

Like locusts. They feed off an area until it’s barren and then find new areas to infest.
