What are you talking about? Jesus did preach about Hell. In fact, He mentioned it twice as often as Heaven. It is "a place of eternal punishment" That's a direct quote.

Revelation 14:10-11 “he also will drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.”

I've read small portions of the Bible. Unfortunately there is no way for me to confirm God has actually said what is written. And even if He did, there is so much I disagree with. I won't bore you with having to read every single issue, but here are some examples:

    • I disagree with God's handling of our existence. He creates us with the ability to disobey Him, but He allows us to suffer (not only in this life but the next for eternity) if we use the free will He burdened us with in the first place to not obey Him. In short, God allows us to suffer simply because we have a different viewpoint. An ability He gave us.

    • God allowed sin to exist for free will to exist at the expense of our safety.

    • God's highly restrictive views on sexuality.

    • God does not provide a better alternative to Hell.

    • God allows Satan to exist.

Words cherry-picked over 300 years late to form the Catholic church.

Why no comment about the rest of my post regarding the nature of evil, about light and darkness?

Who says all of these things? God or men?

Per both the Bible and modern Christian ideology, God not only allows Satan to live, but created him as Lucifer, his best angel, in full knowledge Lucifer would revolt. The Book of Job is an interesting interaction of between the two using a man as a pawn. Again, I think this is more the influence of man than the actual nature of the situation as explained in my previous post on the nature of evil.

Why would anyone want to go to "heaven"? There's no sex there.

Yeshua said that no one can believe unless he allows them to believe. So how can people have free will?

Isn't Superman God? He can fly on his own, even in space. He has x-ray vision and is impervious to harm. He can even make the Earth reverse its spin. He hates bad guys and saves people from danger, especially Lois Lane. His gospel is recorded in comic books. Do you disagree with Superman?
