The term leftist can and does take in quite a few people who can be labeled as socialists, progressives, commies, BLM, Antifa, cancel culturists, CRT followers and or teachers of CRT, Big Tech censors, pro abortionists, Fake News Media, anti Christian, America haters, big government lovers, anti individualism, anti successful rich people (unless they're leftist rich people), pro tax increasers-pro business killing regulations (i.e. obama), pro unconstitutional mandates such as with the COVID vaccine, anti 1st and 2nd Amendments, race baiters; I could on indefinitely, but you get the message.

 

Yeah, anybody you don't like, or suits your pro trumpublican agenda to hate.

 

Yes, because the people you refer to (and I have no argument with the characterisations as supplied!) will crumble in the face of any kind of collectivism, before anyone else. These are the softest and most indulged members of our societies. They can't tolerate anything but perfect physical and psychic comfort.

OTOH, hard@ssed libertarian types will cope rather well, and thus ultimately gain control.

Really, that's quite enough, it proves the point I was trying to make. Leftist is a blanket term that the right applies to anything it fears or hates or wants it's base to fear and hate. Or wants to use as a motivator to call it's base to action; like negatively branding politicians or programs ... anything that can further dupe the masses into voting against their own best interest.

I think my syntax error was in the word "just". I meant it to mean his dislike (or hate) followed the definition, but it reads like just dislike as opposed to hate, which was not what I meant.
