We need an educated population to understand some pretty big questions before we can begin to realize that the national debts of Canada and the United States are
significantly a practical joke being played on ninety nine point nine, nine, nine percent of the population by the eight thousand five hundred wealthiest people on earth
AND. by their ten million most well paid C.E.O's, politicians, news anchors, Hollywood actors, economists, lawyers and stock brokers that they pay extremely well to

When I was in Nova Scotia I got to the place where I VOLUNTEERED for about a thousand hours annually......
in the way that I felt would be the most benefit to the most people in the least amount of time......
(which was writing and writing and writing online...... My 28,578 posts to politicalforum since I joined back in July of 2012 tends to verify how much I do write online because I am actually on a lot of different forums).

In my opinion cases like that of Bill Gates and George Soros who use FOUNDATIONS to pay essentially zero income tax is the farworse loophole in the taxation system that needs to be addressed.

So you need proof that people in general are greedy? Bankers in particular benefit from the interest. Why do you think banks want people to keep a balance on their cards? Profits.

 

My banker hasn't once requested I keep a balance on my cards.

And what I need proof of is that specific American or international bankers are profiting as you've claimed.

You don't just get to throw out accusations like that.

 

Just because they don't ask you doesn't mean they don't want you to. What do you think interest on money is? Profit. What do you think interest on a loan is and why high interest rates benefit banks and not the credit card holder? You seem naive when it comes to the banking industry and money. Do you know what the interest is on the $30T+ national debt is?

 

I know the annual interest on the national debt is one of the largest budget items for the U.S.

You're full of allegations that you do not provide proof of.

 

There has only been one time in our nation’s history when the Federal debt was totally retired, during the presidency of Andrew Jackson. Very soon after that, it started growing again. There was a very nasty economic depression, called the Panic of 1837, that came soon after Jackson left office.

Some national debt is a good thing. Responsible levels of it provide extremely low risk bonds which provide a benchmark for interest rates in the financial markets and low risk income sources for “widows and orphans.”

The trouble now is that it’s out of control. It is now eating up huge amounts of the Federal Government’s spending just to pay the interest. A big chunk of it is held by China. Finally the current funding method, which to sell bonds to the Federal Reserve is causing huge, unwarranted increases in the money supply which fuels inflation.

 

So you need proof bankers and politicians steal?

 

Obviously, the left is tone deaf when it comes to the myriad of reasons the poor are poor.
If we “go democrat” and change the language, we will call illegal aliens what they are: an illegal workforce.
in addition to that, citizen money gets rotated through the economy until it is taxed away. A large percentage of Illegal alien money is sent back home and not rotated through our economy. (AKA remittances)
Bottom line: any president who does not enforce immigration law is hurting America’s poor by forcing them to compete with a desperate workforce. As a society we have to help the less productive members of our society have the dignity of independence.
