    First and foremost I don't think the right to have an abortion is going anywhere. The scope might change but besides that this to me is a dead issue. So I'm not interested in discussion about reserving the right to have an abortion.

    That being said, I lean more towards pro-life because the idea that life starts at conception makes the most logical sense.

    I would never shame a woman for having an abortion because they have to carry that they don't need me making it worse.

    What I think pro-life people should do instead of focusing all your energy on fighting the law focus on showing women that they actually have a choice. Choices like motherhood and adoption. if your poetry place you would support this because those are choices as long as abortion isn't taking off the table and I already said it's probably never going to be.


    Please pro-life pro-choice let me hear your thoughts. Let's see if we can discuss this rationally and honestly.

    Oh please, don't go there. I've pointed out numerous times in the past the issue of adoption is not quite the blanket simple issue many assume it is.
    There are different "categories" of babies, and for some of them there are long waiting lists of parents wishing to adopt, and likely these parents will never get the opportunity to adopt (at least not their first choice), while at the same time there are many other unlucky categories of babies who will likely never be adopted.
    White healthy normal babies are highly in demand and there is certainly no shortage of prospective parents wishing to adopt.

    Thus your argument seems to be something like "if white pro-lifers wish to be pro-life, they should adopt an African American crack baby".
    I don't think that's entirely a fair argument.

    (P.S. If anyone doesn't believe me, there is the story here of a gay white man who was forced to adopt black siblings who all had fetal alcohol syndrome, because those were the only children who were available: Race and adoption )

    They don't have to for women to have choices...

    PP offers women a CHOICE of an abortion or prenatal care....and you have never proven otherwise.

    You claimed PP doesn't offer women a choice....

    You have been shown several times that they do and have NEVER shown proof they don't.

    I am combating your misinformation since clearly PP offers women a choice.

    They offer sexual health care services, not just abortion. They also do education and advocacy.

    They try to fill the gap.
