Can we stop with the sex scandals (both parties)?

Please? OK, clearly about 40 years ago, there was a bunch of lecherous guys. Dems got even for Weinstein with Moore. Now Republicans are getting even for with Franken. Can it just stop now? It's boring! The news is starting to sound like the National Enquirer. If it happened more than six months ago, who cares? Especially if it wasn't important enough to report at the time. JUST STOP!!!

 

This is what politics has came to. Politicians do not want to discuss policies to help people so they prefer distractions and people fall for it. I doubt it will be going away anytime soon.

 

i agree. but it's entertaining, and today's shelf life of a new one is about a day in a half. then back to stories about russia.

 

This is pretty stupid. This isn't about getting even. This is about women finally being able to speak about abuse without fear of reprisals. Powerful men have been getting away with this crap forever and now that it's finally being brought into the open, you want them to stop?

I also enjoy watching the lib/prog humiliation, these self proclaimed morality police and women's champions opened a can of worms and exposed themselves as willing and eager supporters and enablers of rapists, child molesters and sexual predators. Sweet karma.

This is not a 40 year old problem. It's been going on for a LONG time and it's time it stopped

 

You don't find it disturbing that the government has put out over 19 million as hush money for sexual abuse by our Congressmen? The voters have a right to know.

I must disagree. This isn't about politics. It's about the bad behavior of people. The more cases in the past that come forward, the more likely future potential perverts like Moore and Harassers like Al Franken will think twice about engaging in this type of behavior.

It's not about politics. This is important. Not because of the abusers. For the most part, it's not even necessarily because of the victims. It's because of the potential future victims.

The one good thing that might come out from all this is a blanket rule that you cannot fraternize with interns. Every company I have worked for had rules against coworkers dating if one of them was supervisor or manager over the other. If they wanted to continue then one of them had to transfer to another location. It seems like its a common sense universal rule so why isn't this same rule in place in Congress? Oh I know its because the legislative branch of this nation is full of 30+year leeches....ahem politicians who can't be bothered to get a real job and still want to be able to chase skirts. We need term limits and we need to make working in Congress as boring and stifling as possible. Let them get dates at the bar like the rest of us normal people instead of coercing interns.

Biggest damned bunch of hypocrites I've ever seen my life! And I mean "damned" literally.

 

"Christians" are teaching millions and millions of young American just how hated they deserve to be.

Imagine the impression this is making on millennials and younger. The woman I see is 21 and she has been talking about this. The other day she said she is starting to hate people from the South, as well as religious people.

Christians are going to be seen as child molesters.

 

The problem is that people in power have been misusing their influence to get away with total perverts and this is a problem we shouldn't just ignore. Who know what else they have been getting away with. I'd like Congress and Hollywood investigated for sexual harassment and maybe we will find whatever else they have been doing.

 

If it isn't hush money why is it so secretive? Cheaper option? For who? For the good of the country? We are big boys and girls. I think we can handle it.

 

....and it shouldn't be a partisan thing.
