That's a lovely bunch of charts but, nowhere do you answer my question.

Take one period for example - The Obama Era for example. The GDP was bad throughout ..and Red was in control of congress since 2010. The first 4 years at least had nothing to do with congress or Obama - That was dealing with the mess that Bush left.

You claim the economy was bad during Clinton - this is false .. Clinton presided over one of the biggest stock market advances in history - this had nothing to do with Clinton or Congress though - Clinton - like Obama was also left a mess by Reagan/Bush - massive debt -

You have no clue what you are talking about.

That’s when he’s not challenging one of the five people at his rallies to a push up contest, or calling people lying dog faced pony soldiers, or whatever.

Yes, I did. I have demonstrated in great detail the correlation between Democrats taking power and the economy souring. Read it again.

Wrong. The only time GDP was bad was when Democrats controlled both Congress and the presidency in 2000, when it went below 0%. The next year, Republicans took over, and GDP went up.

Wrong. It was dealing with Democratic policies. The Democrats had a complete monopoly on Congress from 2006 till 2010, when we went from economic prosperity to a recession.

Wrong. Are you having trouble reading? I said the economy started out bad under Clinton. It increased somewhat, but growth in GDP was relatively slow in comparison when it made its way above 4% when Republicans took over. Here's a fact you cannot dispute: when Democrats controlled both chambers of Congress and Clinton was president, GDP never went above 4%; but when Republicans broke up Democrat congressional monopolistic rule, GDP went above 4% during Clinton's tenure.

The juxtaposition of these two statements makes a non sequitur.

Why, my friend, if your posts says anything it, it says you are projecting with that statement.

You have not demonstrated anything - GDP growth below 2% is bad .. you defining bad as only once it is below zero shows your lack of understanding.

Things were bad long after 2010 - You have no clue what you are talking about and making stuff up as you go

And the democrats getting congress in 2006 was not responsible for the 2008 crash - that would be a moronic assertion.

I never define that GDP is only bad once it is below 0%. You are making things up. But I do want to thank you for making my point. How so?

Let's look at Exhibit A again.

GDP, when Clinton was president, and both the Senate and House were controlled by Democrats, was barely above 2%, and was, in fact going down. Now notice what happens in 1994 to 2000: it rises to 4%, where it had not been since 1987, when Republicans still controlled the Senate. That means when Democrats controlled the House, Senate, and presidency, it fell below 2% and barely went above it, which further proves my point that Democrats are bad for the economy. Thank you, thank you, thank you, a thousands thanks, for making my point!

Now I know that I have provided you, as Al Gore would say, an inconvenient truth about your party. In order to prevent any undue cognitive dissonance, I highly think you should leave the Democrat Party quickly. Quickly! Quick-ly.

I also think you need Jesus. So here are a couple of videos to you get started on that hallowed journey.

Not to mention Biden was arrested while trying to visit Mandela and Biden also invented the internet......hahaha!

obama and biden implemented Bush's plan for economic recovery. Perhaps Biden can call George up and get some advice.

Wait a minute. Are you telling me that Biden was not arrested with Nelson Mandela? Does that make him a lying dog-faced pony soldier?

I didn't make anything up - It came out of your mouth " The only time GDP was bad was when Democrats controlled both Congress and the presidency in 2000, when it went below 0%."

GDP growth below 2% is not good - and this happened numerous times when Red controlled congress.

Regardless - looking at just the GDP does the whole story tell - the fantasy that you like to pretend is true.

Of course GDP was low when Clinton took over - look at the graph -- it had been declining since 83 - when Reagan was in power and all though the Daddy Bush years - huge fiscal irresponsibility and offshoring due to Reagan/Bush policy was part of the problem.

GDP rose under Clinton - especially after 95 when the internet, computer, tech revolution hit high gear.

There are many factors that come into play that you are not considering.

When did I make that quote? And what is the context?

Proof? Actually the opposite is true, but perhaps you can furnish some proof to back up that absurd statement.

Yes, it was declining from 6%, then shortly fell below 4%, only to bounce back up. But once Democrats monopolized the Congress in 1988, it took a nose dive into a recession, dropping below 0%, which would happen again in 2009, when Democrats controlled both the presidency and Congress.

It rose after the Republican Revolution, when Republicans controlled Congress.

You'll never admit it, but Democrats are to the economy as kryptonite is to Superman: they're terrible. And Joe Biden has been a Democrat in the Senate from 1979 to 2009. He was there when his party tanked the economy in starting in 1978, holding the presidency (Carter) and Congress. He was there when his party tanked the economy in starting in 1988. And he was there when his party tanked the economy in 2009. If you look at this graph, the Democrats controlled by Congress and the presidency when GDP dropped below 0% three times since 1980. And O'l Senile Joe was there the whole time. So I'll be damned if I let some Democrat say that Biden is a part of any economic recovery: his party is the antithesis of such a concept.

My plan was to make a list of 10 reasons why biden is better.

I got stuck on #1, sorry.

I think the democrat establishment has either lost its mind, or has a horrible memory. There were actually better candidates than Biden. They’re stuck in the Obama days, better yet they’re stuck in 2008. Even though Obama was a mediocre president, he was a great candidate in 2008. Granted Obama was running against McCain, who had the charisma of a turnip.
Obama didn’t rub off any of his charm or charisma on Hillary, and he damn sure didn’t do it for Biden.

    That is easy to do.
First of all he was there when Moses parted the Red Sea, in fact Moses was going to give up and Biden said "Come on Man, part the sea" the rest is history.
He led the fight to eradicate small pox, he developed the vaccine in his kitchen working tirelessly night and day.
He was going to be the first man on the moon, but demonstrating his usual kindness he allowed Neil Armstrong to go first, what a guy!
Hitler didn't kill himself, Biden dressed up to look like Eva Braun, choked the life out of him.

And on and on, he is a glorious soldier paving the way for truth and prosperity. Is he a larger God than Obama? Hard to say but he is close.

now back here in reality, what actually happened was the democrats didn't take back congress until 2007. But the damage was already done. Republicans killed every single bill from 2001-2007 attempting to regulate fanny/freddy, which led directly to the housing crash and financial crash in 2008. Thankfully, democrats were in control and were able to get legislation passed which led to the longest sustained period of economic growth post ww2.

Sorry no Dems had control of the house and Senate for Obama's first two years and the Senate until 2014.

He won't call covid a hoax or claims its just the flu. He also won't tell everyone that the virus is totally under control when it isn't. He won't defund the WHO during a pandemic.

Economic growth in Obama's eight years averaged less than 2% his unwillingness to compromise with Republicans in any meaningful unlike clinton prevented much of anything positive getting done for the economy.
