This last Thursday I was informed that my prostate cancer has returned with a vengeance. It explains my back aches. This coming week I'll meet with a surgeon to discuss treatment options. There aren't many. I'm suspecting that I'm done. Regards, Jason Bourne
Hey, it ain't over til it's over. My wife has dealt with back to back cancers (breast and lung). Our biggest fear is recurrence. Oncologists are good at treating cancers but don't seem to have much advice on preventing a recurrence. We feel like we're on our own in that regard. So, after much research, we've settled on a couple of supplements that work to make our cells healthier and not be a host for cancer. They are silica and organic sulfur crystals. I can tell you that they are absolutely working as far as her recovering her daily health and energy. Her oncologist was amazed at the night and day difference in her in just one month after starting these supplements. I am NOT saying they will cure cancer. What I am saying is they give your body a better shot at fighting this off if used as a complement to what your Dr does. I've also read some interesting things about brown seaweed extract but we haven't tried it. Best of luck!! Edit: Also, ditch the table salt and get some Himalayan pink salt.
Damnit. But try not to lose hope, medical science is coming up with breakthroughs daily. You're a good soul JB, I wish you well.
Never give up, never surrender. If you lie down to die you will. Fight to stay on your feet and live as if you have 50 years ahead of. Good luck, it ain't over til it's over.
I'd add lay off of sugar. Most tumors ferment sugar rather than burn hydrocarbons. The healthier your diet over all the better. Take a mineral supplement and yes, Himalayan salt (rich in minerals) and take significant magnesium supplement pills (they are cheap).
The thing about cancer cells is that, as opposed to normal cells, they don't die but get their own blood supply and continue to grow. Apotosis is programmed cellular death and is a natural process, except cancer cells didn't get the memo. There are lots of things that supposedly have "anti-cancer" properties, but the thing is just what constitutes an effective arsenal without going nuts about it. My earlier post mentioned a few things that have made a positive impact on my wife's health. I take them too, not that I have cancer but because they have benefits for anyone. Hey, an ounce of prevention and all that .... One thing I did neglect to mention is getting a curcumin supplement. It is showing promise as a complementary treatment, with even the Mayo clinic admitting as much. About curcumin: It's an extract of tumeric, but the body has a hard time absorbing it. If anyone uses it, it's recommended to get it with piperine added to aid with absorption. We've spent a LOT of time at our hospital's cancer center the last 2 years. It's always busy there. Cancer is a growing threat for us all.
I'm so sorry to hear this. Wishing the best for you and am glad there are treatment options. My sister has lung cancer, had a portion removed and now is receiving treatment. Sending good wishes your way.
Tried to have a conversation with you - I think I could have easily fit into your avatar picture. My father had prostate cancer - he went on for quite a few years after. It is not what he died from.
