Most likely not. The right to bear arms is not for hunting.

So get two thirds of Congress and two thirds of the states to agree and make a change.

    I wish you luck.

Where did you get the idea that the seller is any of those?

    Watch the video again!

So I guess Obama was as well. Not one sentence of legislation restricting guns was brought to law during his presidency.

Those mentioned in the statute you quoted, of course!

Watch the video again. And this time, pay attention!

The statute stated he has to be 18. He likely didn't buy it his mom likely did. That dealer knows he faces criminal charges otherwise.

    Sorry you are still wrong.

Oh God. Where the hell did you get the idea that he's a licensed dealer?

Nope that was the venerable 60 minutes. Trying demonstrate the dangers of so-called side saddle gas tanks in the then Chevy pickup trucks. The really interesting thing was that the data actually showed that you were less likely to be killed in a wreck in one of those but if you were killed you were very slightly more likely to be killed in a fire. So the reality was you were in one of the safer pickups on the road at the time when driving one of those.

No you're OP is wrong. I proved it with federal statutes.

His mother clearly bought the gun for him.

They have the sellers face on video that's a federal crime. Was he arrested?

It doesn't matter licensed or not it's illegal to sell a gun to a 13 year old. The mother of the boy approved.

The answer to your second question is yes and yes and the second goes back to 1965.

Yes. A 13 year old cannot possess a fire arm. If they buy it and their parents are right there it's okay because their parents are the legal owners they're the only ones that can be.

Being wrong can be excused... but being dishonest.... You quoted a statute that applies to licensed dealers. It says so on the statute!

Oh God! The video shows that this is a lie. Dishonesty beyond belief!

    Go away!

@Polydectes has authored probably the most dishonest post I have ever seen on this forum. The law that he himself quoted clearly states that it refers to licensed dealers.

We can disagree. Sometimes passionately. And once in a while even throw a few jabs at each other barely on the fringe within forum rules But no political disagreement is worth such dishonesty.

My question is not a "Yes" or "no" question. it's for the link. Nobody has been able to show it. I doubt you will either.

    Absolutely! No law forbids it.....

Or maybe I should put it this way: nobody has shown a law that would forbid it. Judging from the laws that have been brought up in the course of this discussion, it looks like they can.
