Can't find Verse explaining why people can't believe healing until they see for themselves I remember a Verse explaining that people won't be able to believe healing until they see or experience it for themselves. This is very vague and paraphrased! Does anyone recognize the reference and Scripture? Thank you very much. There is a Bible verse that states what happens in real life. That all the people I know that believe in spiritual healing only understood after experiencing or witnessing/seeing proof directly. but the Bible says this is going to happen. Where is that?
Best I can think of off of the top of my head is Thomas touching the nail wounds and Jesus saying something to the effect of, "You believe because you have seen. Blessed are those who have believed and not seen." Something like that.
Agreed... That's the only one I can think of as well... and I'm not even sure if that's the passage that the OP was trying to find or not...
Do you mean this one? https://www.blueletterbible.org/niv/jhn/20/27/s_1017027 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
