New things are learned every day. The idea that all is known about climate change is pretty far from the truth.

From despair to repair: Dramatic decline of Caribbean corals can be reversed

Climate change has not been thought to be the main culprit of coral decline around the world. The person who wrote that article is an idiot

uh huh, great, maybe now we can also focus on the massive amount of man-made pollutants entering the oceans, bays, beaches, estuaries, mangroves, gulfs, and all other bodies of water every single day which are killing not only coral but all other life in those bodies of water, oh and let's not ignore overfishing, recreational damage, invasive species introduced by humans, and a list of other dangers to our oceans. The only way to correct what is going on is a mass reduction of the human population and the human footprint. That's it, and that's all. To think that simple regulations and oversight will somehow rid the planet of negative human interaction is fantasy.

We already know that climate change is the cause of everything. Just ask any warmer!

If the rapture comes, it will be because of climate change.

If the rapture doesn't come, it will be because of climate change.

Yep the reason we have bad hurricane seasons is because of global warming and the reason we haven't had any lately is global warming.

When everything is evidence of something then nothing is evidence of that something.

Why can't deniers address what the rational people actually say?

Oh, that's right, it's because they're incapable of doing so. That's why they have to fabricate endless nutty fables like "you say warming is the cause of everything!".

And that's why deniers are just mostly ignored. They won't discuss things in good faith, so there's little point in talking with them.

Hmm, it appears that some people are only trolls with no information to provide. Go figure. Interesting that you use the word 'faith' when it comes to AGW.

There are no deniers. That;'s why you don't get the answers you seek.

It's a joke, because of the way climatology is closer to climastrology.

I was once told that scientology started as a fictional writing.

    It sure fits!

    Try me!

I find the deniers are those who cling solid to the dogma of the alarmists. Those of you doing so are incapable of expressing or debating in your own words. I can!

Sunscreen ingredient linked to coral damage...
    :confusion:
Study: Oxybenzone in Sunscreen Linked to Coral Damage
October 20, 2015 - Using sunscreen can cut your risk of developing some of the most dangerous forms of skin cancer by 50 percent. Unfortunately, a new study suggests it also may be doing severe damage to already threatened coral reefs around the world.

Interesting, has it been peer reviewed and results replicated?

I couldn't have said that better. I was just watching a commercial about preventable diseases in children in the third world. I thought to myself that it would be easier and more humane to prevent the preventable all together. Depo-provera for everyone. Just think no more heartbreaking pictures of bloated-bellied babies. Babies that if the parents had any sense, should never have been born.

    Coral reefs dying off...
Scientists race to prevent wipeout of world's coral reefs
Mar 12, 2017 - There were startling colors here just a year ago, a dazzling array of life beneath the waves. Now this Maldivian reef is dead, killed by the stress of rising ocean temperatures. What's left is a haunting expanse of gray, a scene repeated in reefs across the globe in what has fast become a full-blown ecological catastrophe.

I just flashed through a show on cable yesterday showing the reefs in Austrialia and the claims the global warmhng was tbe cause of their bleaching.
