Wow... execution style, eh, all during the last “Great March of Return”? Them highly trained Israeli snipers, equipped with world’s best precision rifles, shot 512 PalestinIans in the head, wounded 13,000 and only managed to kill around 100 people? I say, they’re not that highly trained, after all.

Not just having the person you want to kill so close that you can have three goes is obviously one of the big problems for the IOF on the Great March. They are frequently about 300 yards away...so having them close at hand allows the IOF to have three goes - much more likely the man or woman will die....but the real way they make sure of it is the bit I bolded at the end - they refuse to allow medics in. This is probably the most common way of absolutely ensure the deaths of those they shoot. Not allowing medics to get to them works well as people as whether a person will live or die is often determined by how quick you can get them to hospital. That probably is why the female medic and the other medic who was killed were murdered. Try to stop the medics getting to the Palestinians and get their numbers of dead Palestinians up from the meagre 123 or so.

By definition, sniper kills with one shot. If he does not, he is not sniper. And the head is well... very fragile and delicate, also by definition. If the head is hit by sniper, it’ll ****ing explode. Sorry for being graphic.

So, 500 Head shots cannot possibly result in 100 kills. It does not compute. Something is amiss here.

so what you are saying now is that you believe every kill was deliberate? The killing of the young female medic and the other medic were deliberate.
You know that I do not know anything about shooting but I do think that shooting people from so far away could make a crucial difference and as I said many are reported to have been about 300 meters away when they were shot making an absolute mockery of there being any need to shoot them.

One of the journalists killed died I think about 2 days after he was shot in the abdomen but that would have to be an intended kill I would think - although RT got some footage of them laughing and one of them saying he was going to shoot someone and the other telling him he couldn't as the person was clearly no threat but the guy could not resist and I seem to remember they both left laughing after they had shot. That was on film. It was real.

I do not know what he had done but there is no talk of him having any gun and therefore being any threat to them at the time he was murdered - and that is what non-judicial killing is and that is what the Palestinians face wherever they are and that is the morality of Israel and clearly what she believes the United States approves of. The US supports this because of their Christian Zionists but no civilians in any other country are going to support it and nor will their Governments be able to. I think the final solution to the Palestinian question is going to leave the US very isolated. The rest of the world is not going to support this barbarity to people who have been held prisoner in their own land for 50 years.

No, I believe these numbers are drastically inflated and head shot count is made up. Israeli snipers could not possibly have woulnded 500 people in the head - was it the case, they’d be shooting pees and not real bullets.

As for every kill being deliberate, Israeli snipers did kill 50 Hamas operatives among first 60 kills, did not they..

I watched a YouTube video of an Israeli sniper team shooting an apparently unarmed demonstrator, and laughing about it. It made me think back to my childhood and youth. Some ramblings.

Almost all young men enjoy killing with impunity, and given the horrors both Palestinians and Israelis have endured over the last seventy years, it's naive
to expect anything different. Look at lovely photos of the 'Ramallah lynching' for a cheering view of a gleeful Palestinian grinning widely as he holds up his blood-soaked hands, having just beaten an Israeli reservist to death. Every Israeli knows this is what they can expect in the (admittedly unlikely) event of a Palestinian victory. And every Palestinian can tell you a story that, in their minds, justifies that killing.

However, I hold Jews to a higher standard. A double standard. Sorry about that ... yes, why the Jews, 'please choose another people' ... but there you are: there is something different about the Jews.

When I was young, every summer we feared above all, something called 'polio', perhaps a new word to the younger readers here. A creek (we called it a 'bayou') ran behind my house, supposedly, full of polio virus. A boy living a few houses down from me developed it, and had to walk with a crutch for the rest of his life. You could scare your friends by scooping up a handful of its water and throwing it at them. Then two Jews, Salk and Sabin (disputatious rivals, of course), developed a vaccine against polio (each one had a different method). Now it's almost eradicated from the planet. They could have become multi-millionaires by patenting it, but they gave their marvelous discovery to the rest of us for free. (You see ... always thinking about money, those Jews.) There are millions of people alive today, walking and running, not lying in an iron lung, or dead, including Palestinians, because of those two Jews.

I went to a segregated high school in the 1950s and early 60s ... the whole culture could loosely be called 'Southern Baptist'. Not excessively religious -- we all, atheist me and the Baptist others, behaved like normal American teenagers. But it was a bit oppressive, if you liked reading books, or deviated at all from the popular white culture of 1950s Texas. Then I went to university, in New York State: and I met Jews! Intelligent, passionate about social justice (how sad that this useful phrase has been hijacked by lunatics), with wicked senses of humor, concerned with ideas! A paradise!

And I am old enough to remember 'Purity of Arms' , and the young members of Hashomer Hatzair I knew fifty years ago -- Zionists, but also socialists, believe it or not, and idealists. The early Israel was, the questions of its origin in the expulsion of the Arabs aside, a state rather attractive to leftwingers: secular, established against the odds, a response to a monstrous European injustice that makes the explusion of the Palestinians look like a misdemeanor, and one that didn't stand out, at the time, from the forced displacement of literally millions of people in Europe and Asia in the wake of the war. A number of my friends, and not only Jews, went to work for a summer on those attempts to realize genuine socialism in the here and now, the kibbutzim. (Like all other forms of socialism, kibbutz socialism failed.)

If the IDF has really become the kind of military which casually kills unarmed demonstrators, and laughs about it, or condones it by default, then things really have changed. As the early Zionists wanted, the Jews, of Israel anyway, seem to be becoming like the rest of us. .
