You appeared to be using a comparison to justify why Trump is sincerely under the belief that it would stand up to Constitutional/legal muster.

My point didn't merely debunk the comparison, which you don't appear to disagree with, but it went on to debunk your point, which you haven't rebutted, thus far.

Biden has made no overtures expressing envy of dictators, Trump has. He's joked about it, a few times about being a permanent president, but one wonders from what mindset to the jokes arise? it's not a stretch to conclude that that sentiment arises from an envy of dictators. Also, it's clear he misses the freedom he had when he ran his businesses where he could dictate orders and people would have to jump. Not true as president. I'm fairly confident in assuming that fact is frustrating for him, particularly, much more so than it would other presidents, particularly because of Trump's obsequious praise of dictators on numerous occasions, in a way that is unbecoming of an American president.
