Guns make hate crimes more deadly.

 

Maybe transgender people will be safer if you take their second amendment rights away!

 

Thats about the same percentage as all murders for the general population. Per the FBI's stats, in 2018, 10,265 people were murdered with firearms, out of 14,123 murders. That's 73%. Just shows that TG people are being killed by guns at about the same rate as the rest of the population. Statistically with a sample size of 77 people, 73% and 74% are not different. That's a totally stupid new story.

I forgot to add how gullible one must be to post that guns are responsible for anything.

 

Unless there is evidence to demonstrate conclusively, beyond reasonable doubt, that the individuals were targeted for murder specifically for being transgender, the above claim is meaningless and irrelevant since it cannot be proven their death was the result of a hate crime.

Beyond that matter, the article does not break down how many deaths are related to homicide and suicide, but rather simply lumps them together under a single umbrella term. If transgenders are ending their own existence due to their own mental illness and instability being too much for them to bear, it is not an act of firearm-related violence being committed against them.

There is also the matter of the article mentioning the Pulse nightclub shooting, which was committed by a homosexual individual against other homosexual individuals.

Once again. Simply because transgender individuals are being killed, does not mean their transgender status was a defining or otherwise motivating issue.

 

Every town for gun saftey is not a reliable source of information.

I lock mine up every night just to make sure they don't go out and commit crimes while I am sleeping. I tried to teach them better but you know how firearms are, they are irresponsible and have a mind of their own.

 

I would agree there might be some validity to this argument (even though it's not a very strong argument because the number of transgender people killed every year is very small) but I would refer you to these threads:
Preventing access to the gun isn't necessarily going to prevent the murder
If all gun deaths were single homicides...

You spend a lot of time trolling and not much with the entire story. You quote from Bloomberg's site that has many flaws as it only gives the part of the story that he wants put out. You also quote a fair amount form the WaPo, the people that told us Abū Bakr al-Baghdadi was an
‘Austere Religious Scholar’.
Bloomberg's article "forgot" to include all the deaths that were suicides committed by this group that has a long history of instability. His attempt to make this look like all these deaths were committed by gun-carrying average joe/jane American is disingenuous to say the least but you already know that don't you?
If you want research backed up by FBI and CDC data complete with footnotes buy can go here, but you will need to understand that will shut down the vast majority of the threads you post.

 

I want to see where these guns were convicted and sentenced.

That is not true. Guns are used overwhelmingly for good and fentanyl is only used for bad

 

They are used mostly for shooting on ranges and hunting. They are rarely used for self-defense. Guns are used for 40,000 homicides and suicides per year.

 

I think guns and SUV's are colluding to kill as many people as they can.

 

Over half are suicides. 80% of the rest are gang related.

And firearms are used many times a day to save lives and protect property.
Estimates range from 500,000 times a year up to several million .

 

Most suicides are due to the fact that people with Severe Depression have access to guns. Very unfair.

 

That's their choice.. as a person with sever depression. There are lots of options for help.

 

Taking others people's god given rights away because other people can't control how they feel about reality. Very unfair.

 

If the depression is truly that severe, absence of a firearm would not impede their actions one bit. One does not refrain from ending their own existence simply because it is too hard to physically accomplish.

 

Nearly all transgenders are depressed. Put it back in the books as a mental illness and then let the form 4473 stop them from buying one.
