I would never harm myself to such an extent. I do eat tons of super-fried food and weigh 155 kg.

 

Then you are morbidly obese and committing suicide by eating in a very unhealthy manner.

 

Overall given the overall norm of society, that is not something to be proud of.

 

I'm doing the same smoking and drinking but hey, we all need a hobby and it's much better than past "hobbies" I have kicked.

 

What's your point? It still has nothing to do with guns. The US consistently ranks in the lower 40's for per capita suicides per year. Can you name 40 something countries that have the same access to guns as Americans? Makes the guns are responsible argument sound silly...

 

A gun is a physical object, objects are responsible for nothing.

 

My guess is the OP's point is a call for help, he knows he is killing himself and has tagged guns as a way to get attention.

 

That's part of the problem, people who use a gun aren't trying to get attention, they want to get it done...

 

That's a valid point, however I believe the OP in question wants someone to intervene, to help him, he knows he is off the rails and is on-line looking for support and help.

Sadly, this plea by the OP, to me, seems to be is a totally parallel plea for request for help pushed out by Nikolas Cruz, who went on to commit the Parkland shooting.

He was also ignored and the result not good.

 

The vast majority of those killed by guns kill themselves. Suicide is the leading cause of death among men who think they're women and women who think they're men.

 

Calling it "hate" crime is as absurd as it gets. What percentage of murders are a result of kindness?

 

Which is essential, when survival is the game.

That claim is contradicted by hundreds of thousands of failed suicide attempts each year.

 

The obvious question of "so what?" must be asked with regard to the above. What ultimate, meaningful difference does such actually make? How does it serve to excuse or otherwise change the fact that individuals choose and proceed to go about ending their own existence even if firearms are not available? Explain such.

 

The number of individuals who choose to end their own existence with firearms, is not the fault of those who choose to own firearms for legal purposes. Nor is it their responsibility to fix the problem by accepting new firearm-related restrictions for something that they have not done.
