High Levels of Cellphone Radiation Linked to Tumors in Rats, Study Says
February 02, 2018 - Male rats exposed to very high levels of the kind of radiation emitted by cellphones developed tumors in the tissues around their hearts, according to a draft report by U.S. government researchers on the potential health risks of the devices.

This is a digital age; everyone has a mobile phone nowadays. I remember getting my first phone at 13 (or thereabouts) to let my family know I was safe and my whereabouts when I was out. The phone I had was very basic; it made calls, sent texts, black and white; and had about 2 games.

I see children the age of 4 who have their own iPhone! Our society is too reliant on technology; especially parenting, as some parents buy phones for their children to keep them quiet and less bother.

It would not surprise me that phones cause health issues, however in a society reliant on technology, I think these warnings, however genuine, will be forgotten or dismissed.

Come on people if cell phone use was harmful in any way or in any manner to humans given the near universal use of these devices for the last decade or so, the hospitals would be full to overflowing.

Show a sharp increase of tumors that track the increase in cell phone used just to start with not some animal study.

I can still remember the worry about living near power lines and once more cancer.

Given that electric workers had been working around must more powerful fields then someone living near a high voltage line for many decades going on a hundred years without them coming down with a high rate of tumors on it face such worries seems nonsensical and for the same reason cell phone worry seems not to have any connection to the real world.

Cell phones now have greatly reduced power.
Huge numbers of cell sites have further reduced R.F. power needs, as smaller batteries last longer too.
Digital transmision methods and triband phones further limit R.F. exposure.

There is more danger from commercial broadcast towers and communications links and power lines than cell phones.

Old style television sets with vacuum tubes and the ubiquitous Cathode Ray Tube or picture tube were responsible for cancer, the death of many television repairmen years ago.
    Soft X-Rays....

There is some anecdotal evidence that high levels of microwave signals, such as being in close proximity to a typical home wifii device, could be causing some people to be more anxious, and may have some small effect on ability to concentrate and sleep.
