I'm in Charlotte for the DNC festivities as well as some personal business. Charlotte is gorgeous! A good mix of modern and classic architecture, great weather (so far) and the people couldn't be nicer. Came across this sand sculpture being carved this morning ... I think it's supposed to be the President.
have fun and spend money. I think it's awesome that there are effigies to "the one" We as a nation have been truly blessed to have the messiah (per farrakhan) as the POTUS and I'll miss him after January...............but I'll get over it
Charlotte is a nice place. Great golf all over the place. I expect Obama will find a coarse and play while the country is suffering under his policies because his speech will contain nothing but blame Bush, blame the rich and blame Republicans. He doesn't need to practice it, he's been saying the same frikkin thing for 4 years while failing (as usual) to improve his handicap.
Since the event doesn't start for 4 days, guess you'll be staying awhile, huh? Hope you brought your clubs!
