Maybe a bunch of white people should start faking hate crimes. Lets see how quickly the NAACP gets involved and how quickly it can blamed on Trump? Oh thats right. Smollet already tried to blame his fake crime on Trump already. Silly me.

Unfortunately that is probably the best we can hope for unless they can show there was a quid pro quo. There needs to be a full investigation to see if their were promises made or undue influences but amounting to a criminal charge may be tough. I wish the little arse would do sometime in jail. I could have gone along with probation and community service and a fine to help cover the cost and what little there would have been had he owned up to it up front when suspicions were first raised. But how he let it go on and on and has not owned up to it even now a little jail time would be appropriate.

Yes; the same here. At a minimum he at least needed to admit guilt and then receive a token hand slap.

I would have liked to have heard "Your honor I regret my actions and throw my mercy to the court", but that little smug face every time I see him, that "Ha I got away with it you fools" look............:police:

Onetime Michelle Obama staffer evades subpoena in Smollett-Foxx case, process server says

Tina Tchen, the former chief of staff to first lady Michelle Obama, declined Wednesday to be served with a subpoena by a retired Illinois judge seeking the appointment of a special prosecutor in the Jussie Smollett case, according to the process server.

In an email to former Illinois appellate judge Sheila O'Brien obtained by Fox News, the process server wrote that a security guard at the Chicago law firm where Tchen is a partner "called up to her and spoke with her and she said that she in [sic] never going to accept service and to not allow me up to their Law firm.

"She knows all about this Subpoena," the server added.

This is what happens when emotional social justice statements are more important than the law. It seems to be a popular Democrat thing. Baltimore is another good example of social justice statements that have turned a community on it's head. The amusing thing is that these people voted for this crap. More power to them. They deserve it.
