I heard of this child artist today. She so amazes me, I want to share her with the forum.

Do you agree she is a genius great artist? Which of her paintings do you enjoy most? She paints in a variety of styles and subjects. If you have seen a child genius artist, let's hear about that artist as well. Look at the home this child had built. Amazing isn't it?

She definitely has some kind of abnormality, hearing voices and seeing visions as she claims, but at least it has this positive and rather unique outcome for her also. Her work is certainly very good.

Other people have other strange super talents, like this guy:

She definitely has photographic memory, it's the only way she could draw this way starting at those ages. You also tell from the paintings themselves, they look like a copy of a photo or existing painting, or sometimes a meld of two or more references. She's copying reference pictures, basically.

Learning to draw, for typical people, involves learning anatomy, perspective, shading, colour, picturing objects in 3d, etc. This is how you go from a blank page, to quickly being able to draw a character in a dynamic pose, shading it, colouring it, etc - without any references. I'd be curious to ask her to draw several pages of an action comic book, without looking at any references. I bet she couldn't do it. She doesn't actually know how to draw, only copy really well.

I think the great talent is in her father's marketing ability.
