    Moved from NFL thread...

I was born towards the end of July '65 with my sister being born 2 years and 2 days earlier so between 5 and 7 is more likely. We moved to Germany around the time of my 7th birthday.

This picture is from our time in Germany almost certainly Christmas '72.
Unfortunately you can only see the top of my head through the side door window but I'd say my sister was no more than a year older, making me 6 in the cowboy photo.

I dont have any either. I think it would be somewhat unusual for someone to have a lot of pictures of themself as a kid... but I'm not sure why.

Dad and me at Grand Canyon. Best guess is 1971. The clothes are epic.

I have hundreds. My mom was an avid photog. She had her own dark room for many years when I was a kid. We are in the process of converting several hours of Super 8. Just got our 1976 Disney movies done.

I don’t think my reasons are the same as yours but I bet people have a couple of them laying around somewhere.

This is probably 1976 ish. Most likely Branson, Missouri, Silver Dollar City.

    My father was the same.
We learned at a young age to stay out of the kitchen when the red light was on.
Same with the Super 8 except we call it Cine film here.
I recently got the first batch of digitised home movies.
Remarkable what you can remember from your early childhood.
Seeing my parents in their 20s and 30s and the camping trips we took all over Europe in the mid '70s was wonderful.

I recently got this picture blown up and framed for Christmas from my sister.
It shows a rare picture of Dad (he was always on the other side of the lens) in Singapore, proudly displaying his motor racing trophies.
Dad would have been about 28 then, sometime around 1964.

My dad built my mom her own room in the basement. We weren’t allowed in there, red light or not.

We snuck in one time looking for Christmas presents. That was a big score!!!

Note that on the bonnet of the MG Midget are a cigarette box and an ashtray which were part of his trophy collection.
    How times have changed.
I still use the silver plated ashtray which is engraved S.A.C. (Singapore Automobile Club) Driving test 1st Team.
Driving tests are more commonly known as Auto tests these days and involve manoeuvring around a tight course laid out in bollards against the clock. Time added for hitting bollards. Lots of handbrake turns, slalom courses and reversing into ''garages''.

One of my jobs was to empty and clean that nasty ashtray.

35 or so years after that photo was taken I was going out with a girl whose parents had been in Singapore at the same time. When my father's name came up her mother remembered racing against him and was able to find a newspaper clip where she had come first and my father had been 3rd in a race.
When I teased Dad about being beaten he pointed out that his MG was 950cc compared to her Cooper Healey's 2600cc.
