Hmmm. Interesting thought. But is not also true a lot of flu viruses start in Asia? Maybe they’ve built an immunity to most, but not to all?

Very dense populations, poor hygiene standards and close proximity to their livestock.

Well according to CNN our response team should sit idly by until we can secure a black, a hispanic, a gay, a woman of any race, an asian, an eskimo midget, and an albino on a commission to fight this virus. If Trump cannot find all of the above then nothing should be done, Period.

Well... Maybe. But when you have a country like China, not known for humane treatment of the public, rushing to build such a big complex in such a short amount of time you have to wonder. Bureaucrats covering their asses seems a bit too simplistic an explanation.

Hmmm. Interesting thought. Yet, is it not also true that Asia spawns many flu-like viruses? Why is that?

Still, I’ve wondered, how did China make so many people, especially after Mao exterminated 60 million of them? Part of the answer is that in terms of density, its not all that huge; in terms of area, it's humongous--there is a lot of people in China because it is huge.

You're right, and that's a big part of their problem -- a lot of 'land mass' (especially after they 'acquired' Tibet) cannot grow crops. It is estimated today that only 12.6% of Chinese land is arable. That is very likely accurate. Back in the mid-1970's the figure was ~15%.

As we see, there's a lot more of them, and consequently there's 'more mouths to feed'. And even if China decided to absorb Mongolia, for instance, they wouldn't be getting any more abundant farm land -- that's for sure. They could try invading Vietnam (again) and taking it over, but even if successful, they'd just have millions MORE 'mouths to feed'. Naw -- China needs to BUY food, and lots of it, because 'conquest' these days is very expensive, but food is relatively cheap.

Fast-forward to a few months from now in 2020 -- the Corona virus panic will be over and done with. China's spectacularly successful Belt-and-Road initiative will be fully back on track, and the Chinese and Russians will resume virtually taking over the entire Eastern Hemisphere....

This could all be part of the plan by the big wigs to force universal vaccinations on the world’s population. We know that they want to kill 80-90% of us so the easiest way is to create hysteria by releasing a super bug and then offering to solve it through an universal vaccination program. The trick is that the vaccine will be engineered in such a way that it won't be deadly until months later when billions of people have received it, then they will start to die off.

We’ll see what happens very soon.

I think we have a conspiracy theory forum here for this sort of drivel. You need to be quarantined in it.

Except that this isn't a "super bug", not with a mortality rate of <5%. And, it is likely that the hundreds of thousands (or millions, we just don't know yet), who survive it will develop viral antigens making them immune to this particular virus in the future.

In short, this virus is a piss poor way to eradicate "80-90%" of the population.

I didn't say that the virus is the real killer but maybe the mandatory vaccine will be. The virus is just to get people into a state of panic so that they will eagerly get their fatal shots.

    Wait and see.

Worried about catching the Corona Virus? Stop, better you be careful you don’t catch the flu.

“Already this flu season (which generally begins in the U.S. in October and peaks during winter months), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that more than 15 million people in the U.S. have gotten sick with flu. More than 150,000 Americans have been hospitalized, and more than 8,000 people have died from their infection. And, this isn't even a particularly bad flu year.

"Last year, we had 34,000 deaths from flu," says epidemiologist Brandon Brown of the University of California, Riverside. On average, the flu is responsible for somewhere between 12,000 and 61,000 deaths each year. "And this is just in the United States," Brown says.”

    https://www.npr.org/sections/health...coronavirus-in-the-u-s-flu-is-a-bigger-threat

So, again, what is the point of all this “emergency”. I suspect, as usual, the bureaucrats and politicians are feeding the world’s mass hysteria in order fill a void in their empty, worthless, useless lives, and turning a common life occurrence into one gigantic global cluster-fauck.

A pharmaceutical company seeking a profit has a far better chance of creating a vaccine than a politician’s love for the poor and hatred of the rich.

China coronavirus: Death toll rises as more cities shut down

The total rises, the death rate falls. Last week a total of 3% had died from the virus. This week the figure dropped to 2%. As they find more victims the figure should drop to about the same as any other flu. It is amazing how the panic about the disease spreads faster than the virus itself.

Ah, the CPC and it’s minions, taking a molehill problem and changing it into a mountain of catastrophes.

China’s Corona Virus is Much Worse Than You Think (The title is misleading. It should read, The CPC’s Response is Reckless Homicide)

    ,
I work for a decent size practice here in Ga. We have on average, 5 confirmed flu everyday. Along with that, 3 out of 5 are testing positive for both A and B flu even when the pt has had their flu shot. BOTH A and B flu. I had one pt come in the other day DEMANDING the new flu meds from Japan, she tested negative for flu, said she still felt ill but had been taking left over Tamiflu she had at her house. Well, a negative flu test will get you NO Rx from our docs. Turns out she just wanted it to have it. Was pissed off because she was sure our docs would send it in. We did, apparently, her insurance didn't approve the PA from the pharmacy. She's now pissed because she said the pre-paid for the meds. IDK......She is full of it. Ins companies aren't going to pay just to pay and this pt didn't even need the meds

Here it is from a scientist, a medical infectious disease expert, the truth. Quit panicking.

Here’s a medically fact I bet many don’t know—all corona viruses come from bats.

This doctor verified everything I surmised about this outbreak—Quarantining cities and travel bans are counter-productive. Spend the resources fighting and treating the disease instead wasting time trying to contain the uncontainable.
