This morning, I watched Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace. One of the contributors was Jessica Tarlov. When Chris Wallace tried to interrupt a filibuster by Ms. Tarlov--in order to get to a commercial break--Ms. Tarlov continued to filibuster. She simply would not yield, until she got in all her talking points. I found this sort of behavior enormously rude--and, quite frankly, infuriating. If I had been in Chris Wallace's shoes, I would have pressed the appropriate button, and cut her off. And I would never have asked her back on the program, again. Note: Ms. Tarlov is a Democrat; but I would have been equally infuriated if she had been a Republican. (Somehow, though, Democrats typically seem less likely to observe the rules of a civil society. I am not quite certain just why that is.)
Define "civil society". Does it only apply to guest appearances on media or does it carry over to other venues?
There is nothing civil about the way today's liberals are acting, and its poor leadership and rudeness like that demonstrated here that encourages such uncouth behavior...
And that goes for Chris Wallace too. The guy had got some serious TDS. He's quite petty....and pretty much a dick overall.
Republicans are not allowed to blather on forever - when they're allowed on at all. Think of who gives the "conservative" point of view on CNN. A Spanish woman no one had ever heard of before who can barely make herself understood in English. Look who Fox has on: Juan Williams - a nationally known liberal. That's what most networks want; liberals and liberals only.
Would take you seriously if you had posted this within the forums rules in a civilized manner. Alas you didn’t come close to meeting the creation standards.
I looked at the online cast for todays Chris Wallace program there is no mention of a Ms. Tarlov appearing on his show ????
Chris Wallace is a Never Trumper... Wallace, Goldberg, Benson, Kristol and others are Blue Nosed Progressive Elitists. They collectively have no class and virtually no political power..
