Actually I cant. It would require the state legislature to enact legislation doing so.

No. Actually all that would be required is changing the law to treat people equally when it comes to marriage.

That was an obviously generalized statement that when defining marriage within the bounds of law that it can be defined however legislators want, so long as it applies to all consenting adults.

One question when making a gay cake does it have to be chocolate?

Like your tag line "Republicans haven't seen Democrats this angry since we took their slaves away."
It's historically quite accurate. Democrats are the party of slavery, segregation, the KKK and today's
    race politics.

Someone else said it in a thread on here and I stole it for my signature, I did tell them.

I was going to change it but then someone had go at me about it so instead I made it bigger and a different colour that way it was easier to read ;)

I know the history and I believe passionately that identity politics and PC are cancers on today's society.

I am Australian. But my family hailed from Virginia in 1640. We lived in Alabama, Mississippi,
Georgia and Texas. And we had a lot of slaves. I guess we must have been Democrats too.
Probably were - we not only fought in the Civil War, our family agitated to start it.

The one who oppose this ruling, for years, have been pushing the false premise that it's about making sure that gays can actually get access to goods and services connected to weddings. Their claim is that if even a single business is allowed to refuse service, then all gays everywhere will magically be unable to get any goods or services at all from anymore.

The truth is that the ones who do choose to refuse service are a small minority. A gay couple can still easily get a wedding cake. What this is really about is liberals forcing their views on everyone else. The PC Fascists don't want anyone thinking, doing, or saying anything that they disagree with.

Go to a liberal cake shop and say you want to a cake to celebrate Donald Trump,
the KKK or Joseph McCarthy. Or a cake emblazoned with "Celebrating heterosexual
    marriage."

And still, Actually I cant. It would require the state legislature to enact legislation doing so. Even with your quote added back in.

And they could tell you to **** off, we don't serve your kind here. Equal protection is more equal for some than it is for others. Always amusing when purposeful discrimination is written into the law and they proclaim it to be equality.

Of course they could easily get all the cake they wanted at multiple different locations. BUT they instead, purposely choose to purchase a cake at a place they think they might not be served with the potential of $100s of $1000 in rewards.

Another example of right wing anti gay bigotry.

This an example of Left Wing Gay Bigotry - bigots forcing their values onto other people.

No-one these days is stopping you from being a homosexual.
Please, just don't thrust your views into the faces of other people.

Look, I am not going out bashing homosexuals.
But I am told that I have to
    1 - legalize homosexuality (ca 1970's)
    2 - tolerate homosexuality (ca 1990's)
    3 - celebrate homosexuality (ca 2000's)
4 - change the definition of marriage and teach kids to be homosexuals (today)

At each step we are told it won't go any further. Just last year Australia voted
to accept gay marriage. One point raised in the "debate" was that this would
not infringe upon religious rights. Guess what - one year later..........

And it's not about homosexuality - it's about all moral issues. Next will be
polygamy (fastest moving issue currently) and then pederasty, rah rah rah...

So exactly what religious right(s) has been infringed upon?

Religious rights were not defined as part of the deal to approve gay marriage.
Some commentators considered this a serious oversight.
With social movements there is no "deal." You have to accept otherwise you are
a .......phobe or ..... cist and shut down (govt, media, education, entertainment etc..)

Current issue is that Australian Labor and Greens are in a position to dictate terms
for a bill on religion freedom re homosexual rights. Schools don't expel homosexual
students but there are issues with the promotion of homosexuality, the sylabus and
rights to teach the schools values (ie Bible, Koran etc..) As it is homosexuals (or more
likely, activists exploiting them) could potentially target chapel attendance or what
translation of the bible a school prefers, for instance.
Religious freedom is THE key freedom of Western society. Attacking it gives the cultural
Marxists unparalleled power. And like the current gender pronoun "controversy", the
real issue is power, and who has it.

    Christian [sic] bakery won?

That's homophobic. Where are the professing Christians who know that their Bible teaches to ''judge not lest ye be judged"? And where are the right wingers who have suddenly embraced gay rights on the Mika thread???

    That word "homophobic"
You have learned that from other people's politics.
It really means "fear of man."
The word is designed to shut down free speech and demonize
those who are not with the cultural agenda.
And there's the "...ists" like "Racist."
So you now get "Denialists" if you don't believe in Global Warming
(I got sucked into the Global Freezing campaign early '70's BTW)
So when someone says "homophobic" I feel I am dealing with some
    political hack, or uncritical drone.

Gee, that means you hate right wingers since they use that term all the time when projecting their homophobia. You know, the same ones who like to use their favorite meanings to terms but not within proper context.

My tag line on another forum.
2001-2015 Gallop figures on approval rates for moral issues in USA:
Gay lesbian 40 to 63%. Baby outside marriage 45 to 61%. Casual sex 53 to 68%.
    Divorce 59 to 71%. Polygamy 7 to 16%. Doctor suicide 49 to 56%.Personal suicide
    13 to 19%. Gambling 63 to 67%. Abortion 42 to 45%. Married men having affairs 7 to 8%.

Which of these do you think will come the next "phobia"?
I reckon it's going to be polygamy as it's the fastest moving issue
So the people who today reject polygamy will tomorrow call me a
    POLYPHOBE.
Now no-one wants to be a polyphobe - that's like being sexist,
racist, homophobe. You don't want to be different, you don't want
to be bad - so you will call me a polyphobe.
