The Declaration of Independence which is our founding document. We are endowed by our creator with unalienable rights meaning man nor government gives us our rights. They come from God our Creator. The U.S. Constitution is to protect our rights given by our Creator God. No, the Declaration of Independence specifically states we citizens have unalienable rights. Meaning, our rights don't come from man nor government. And, you can name your own Creator if you would like. If it's nature, then we are free to believe and exercise our beliefs, speak our own thoughts and protect these rights with the weapons of our choice.

I never said that the "U.S." is endowed by our Creator. The people who are citizens are.

Does the Bible speak of human rights? Yes. 1Cor 6:12, Everything is permissible for me but not everything is beneficial. I will not be mastered by anything.

Galatians 5:1, It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.

Since the Declaration of Independence is our founding document as a nation, and it references our rights come from God our Creator, then it's appropriate to use scriptures that teach about freedom and free will. I know that is not what atheists want to here. But, it is the truth that we get our rights not from man or government. But by our Creator. If you and others can't handle it, move to China or Russia.

All men (women too) are created equal (not equity but with equal opportunity) and endowed (given a gift) by their Creator (God) with certain (gifts known as rights that cannot be given by man/government or taken away by man/government - unalienable) rights, including 3 specific rights (but not only 3) life, liberty (freedom) and the pursuit of Happiness (the right to own property). So, to paraphrase, "All citizens of the U.S. are created with equal opportunity because of gifts of life, liberty and to pursue happiness that are not given or taken by man or Government but given by God our Creator, even creator of the universe.

The Bible is claimed to be real because it is inspired by God and God is real because the Bible says so. That is circular logic. The Bible's creation story is mythology. It is not just the science of evolution that demonstrates this. It is demonstrated to be a bogus story radiometric dating, astrophysics, geology, etc.

 

You said "Israel and Egypt also prove the Bible true" -- exactly the same logic as me saying Kansas proves the Wizard of Oz is true. BTW - this is NOT circular logic which is starting with your end point. What is your evidence that the Bible's story of creation is true?
