The Bible plainly states that the Jews killed Jesus. In addition, the Babylonian Talmud says that they used five different methods to kill him.

Jews betrayed and turned in Jesus. Romans crucified him.

    Jesus was a Jew.

You could just say his friends and neighbours betrayed him to the Romans without implacting Jews y'know - just happened to be Jewish.
Romans killed Jesus; Romans put the bounty on Jesus; Jesus and his people could have been a bunch of Hindus for it matters; Romans killed Jesus, not the Jews - duh.

Don't believe any Pope who tells you otherwise; that's just scape goating blaming the Jews for their own hand in Jesus' murder.

And people believe that?! Look at the source/the people writing that Bible.
Probably a bunch of dead people from Vatican City thousands of years ago to retain their grip on power back when the church was power..
It was the Romans who killed Jesus - fact, then afterwards Christians took Rome and the people who killed Jesus became the church/literally swapped out being Roman emperors to being popes, no matter what the Bible says, it's just a form of propaganda used to control the masses.

It's about the reality of Roman Emperors calling themselves Popes and the Holy Bible a tool for controlling the masses.

What did you think it was about?

I have no idea what it’s about. Your OP is entirely false. Now you’re going off the rails about Roman emperors calling themselves popes.

Back then it was simpler times devoid of freedom or sciences and mass media.
It was a simpler time and the Bible was invented and used to keep a simpler people in check.

It's a relic from a bygone form a governance, and the Romans killed Jesus.

    The Roman's weren't Christian's when Jesus died,
so what's the point of that?

When they became Christians, they'd hardily say 'he was killed because we ordered it', no, they wrote it was the Jews who betrayed Jesus so no one would go 'wait a minute' on them and question them.

So it's 2020, and people still listen to it despite other forms of power making it obsolete like law makers elected by the people. It really is a relic from when the Roman Empire retained power through the Church.

To connect the dots that all the Pope is is another version of the Roman Emperor and that people were taught the Bible to control them.

    It's a lie that controls.

Hate the Jews, lie, it was the Pope's people who killed Jesus.
Life eternal - mother nature tells us once you die you die.
Virgin birth - mother nature tells us this is not possible.

The lie of the Jews killing Jesus was told by the people who killed Jesus, that's a bit hypocritical when they say they're God's voice on Earth, that you must listen to it.

Popes are not emperors . They are elected, and they are the head of the Catholic Church. They have no political power.

Yes, I already said all religion is retarded.
No, it wasn’t. There were no popes during the time of Jesus.
Right. We are back to religion is retarded.

jews betrayed and turned Jesus over to the romans.

Roman Emperors started calling themselves Popes after the last Roman Emperor was converted.
Exactly, they're a relic from a bygone era when they had political power, many, many, many years ago - and people still follow that.

And until the 20th Century, they've all been Italians.
The Pope's are what the people who killed Jesus became since that's what Roman Emperor's became and that's hypocrisy, if anybody's knows who really killed Jesus, it's the Vatican, I bet they even have the death warrant in their files locked away so no one would question them as head of the church - because they're the people who killed Jesus, they have archives and they like to hide all sorts of things.

Romans believed that all life came from eggs too Sherlocks celebrating the Roman Christian answer to Passover.

Romans The Church invented Easter to compete with Passover to celebrate Jesus's resurrection from the crucifix and going in to Heaven, 'so Romans couldn't kill Jesus ;) ;) but the Jews sold him out' (it's worse than Communism because they believe this too and start wars and hate about it). That's why we have Easter Eggs, because Romans The Church invented Easter.

This thread would most certainly be a candidate for most stupid thread of the month award.

I'm not even sure what you are implying.

Yes, the Romans killed Jesus (well actually no, it's more complicated than that, but let's just go with that for the sake of simplicity). The Christians then eventually converted the Romans, and since that time most of the Popes have been Roman.
How does that, in your view, discredit the religion in any way??

Never mind that the majority of Christians do not even recognize the Pope.
But, again, just for the sake of argument, let's say you are only talking about Catholics.

You know it's threads like these that just make me want to permanently leave this forum, due to the low level of intellectual debate.
