Born in London, raised in London, and London being London, has given me some insight into the world. My hometown and the internet helps me better understand American and Australian culture, probably making me an alien to my own British one, and being British, with virtually all my connections to the UK, does mean I know Britain too. From Root Beer to what the word Root really meants, I accept it all. And learning is what it is. I also know some Japanese and my favourite tea comes from Japan. also, a lot of Jamaican culture and Hindu and Muslim and Sikh and Jewish and all of that in London.
According to my passport I was born in London and I'm a British Citizen. If I ever became American, I would be an American Citizen and my American Passport would say born in United Kingdom, but as it is, I'm a British Citizen with a UK passport that says born in London.
When you get a handle on that American Culture thing , let me know, It's always alluded me. Been to the UK once visited Portsmouth and Manchester. My take on UK culture was terrible food but great beer. Friendly girls with bad teeth. You have great actors and those guys in the castles are pretty good in their roles also. Miss Bennie Hill, Peter Sellers and Ian Fleming.
