I finished watching Lonesome Dove last night. I understand there are prequel episodes, so I'll have to find out more about how the sequencing works so I can decide if I want to watch any of them.

I consider Leap of Faith by far Steve Martin's best movie, and it was not a comedy.

A good film from the 90's, seems oddly relevant today.

Kelly's Heroes for the tank scene alone.

Lots of good movies on this thread, makes me smile. I've seen most of them and some I watch every so often again.
' It's A Wonderful Life ' is not the only movie that can be seen every year. Although a fantastic classic, there are other greats too.

That reminds me of one of my faves - a psychological (or psychiatric? I'm never sure of the difference - or even if there is a difference!) drama called Repulsion. Catherine Deneuve at her best and most beautiful. Same as Jean Simmons was at hers in The Big Country.

One of the best theme songs of all time. This western version of Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai is one of my all time favs.

Clint Eastwood in a musical is worth it for the novelty alone.
