Climate Emergency hits Greece leaving 7 dead and at least a hundred injured

Yes I agree, ridiculous considering so many people have no food to eat right now...but climate emergency. This is how you get a bunch of spoilt brats to destabilise a country... you give them something they don't understand to riot over

 

We currently are in a crises on many levels much the same as that of the 1930's which led to fascism and it is argued we have the same forces aligned. That is as
Hannah Arendt said in respect of Nazi Germany 'The temporary alliance of the elite and the Mob.' This alliance being against the working class and liberalism.

The reason - same as in the 30's. The monetary system is broken and no one is saying it. They are trying to hold on to a broken package. The economy is something we need to be right. We need to believe in it to make the right decisions to have any ability to plan ahead. As Paul Mason argues it could be compared to a religion which people have taken on which relies on some forecast which does not happen rendering it an obvious lie. For these people the political foundation of neo liberalism which removed ethics from political thinking has become paramount. Ethics are no longer required and that includes the ethics of being truthful. Now the Mob in its temporary alliance with the elite want to rewrite history and take away the liberal thinking which was a response to this situation in the thirties. They want to go back to what things were like then. That was Nationalism, white Supremacy, misogyny, homophobia and we can add the great new one - Climate Denial. They wish to lead us to the Abyss. For them it is now the survival of the fittest - and you can bet the elite have preparations for climate disaster. The amazon boss for instance is thinking of setting up pods in space for the workers while he and the rest of the elite enjoy the earth.

We currently look headed for fascism. A fascism led by people who deplore humanism, who see humans as machines and use machines, new technology to program human beings. Look for instance at Cambridge Analytica.

However most human beings do believe in humanity. Do have feeling for their fellow beings never mind most of all for their own family and loved ones.

More and more theorists are suggesting that it is going to be tackling climate disaster which is going to save us from the impending fascism creating the situation I have mentioned above. He believes it will need a necessary alignment of the centre and the left.

If not then a poem I wrote 50 years ago when I first heard of the likely future climate situation about what may come into being

and how we yearn for death'.

 

Socrates had a different notion.

“I am wiser than this man, for neither of us appears to know anything great and good; but he fancies he knows something although he knows nothing; whereas I, as I do not know anything, so I do not fancy I do.”

 

There is no climate emergency in Greece.

 

So Americans were claiming they had no problems with their crops and the March rain. It was as I said.
