That's the tax on climate change in France. That's why Trump wanted out of the Climate accord. Macron believes in climate change. The prices of gas will rise for some years. Only the most vulnerable will be harmed the most. Those who cannot afford a new battery powered auto will have to decide on food or gas to go to work. Maybe that's an exaggeration and maybe it is closer to the truth than we know.

And this graphically illustrates that there is no politically possible way to significantly reduce CO2 emissions.

Exactly. Carbon taxes are extremely regressive. The poor are harmed due to the stupidity of the governance morons.

Warmists don't care about who is hurt by their policies, all they care about is making inroads to gaining ever more control of society.

The environmental game is about political power... it has never had anything whatsoever to do with the environment.

And alarmists do not understand or acknowledge the benefits of global warming. There have been stories in the last few weeks about increasing crop yields and production in Iowa and Alberta Canada

So much cherrypicking. Warming is harmful to the world economy. Every economist except one agrees with that, so deniers only quote that one.

Why do all deniers despise humanity so much? In addition to the current economic damage their policies cause, we know the fossil fuels run out someday. Deniers would leave humanity shivering in the dark after that happened.

It's many more than one. I see you still haven't done your homework.

The benefits of global warming outweigh the costs for at least the next ~ 3 deg C of warming. That's being demonstrated right now.

Why do alarmists want to reduce the capability of humans to adapt and mitigate any local effects of global warming ??
