Impeachment hearings are going to happen in 2019, Buzzfeed story or not.... Prepare accordingly...

 

I would be surprised if they didn't given this is pure dirty politics and the democrats are very good at wallowing in the dirt. So is trump.

I highly doubt trump is ever removed from office though. The dems see impeachment as the only thing the can do to sooth their sore arses, after 2016. So sure, we should expect it. But it has little meaning at the end of the day, just an impeachment.

 

Are you saying fake news is serious? My cable guide lists MSNBC, CNN, and FOX as comedy channels.

Strictly speaking, neither CNN nor MSNBC are genuine journalistic standards driven, integrity driven news outlets, but quite the contrary. Instead they are mere partisan, anti trump propaganda outlets masquerading as news outlets. This is self evident, at least if one is at all objective. So it is what it is. The question that I have is whether are not the democrat minds are capable of discerning this, or if their minds are too far gone, in some form of mental corruption, so as not to be able to recognize the self evident. That is my greatest concern, because these people, with these kind of minds, do vote. And if you are not playing with a full deck, that this be very dangerous for what is left of this republic, and the rule of law.

One wonders sometimes what good is having a higher IQ score, over a score of 80, which is basically that of mental idiots, when those higher IQs are just as subject to idiocy, when politics and trump is involved? I am fascinated by what partisanship and hatred can do to otherwise sane minds. But also very troubled about it. For nothing is more destructive IMO, than a failed intellect.

All americans should be concerned if trump broke US law, turning him into a common, or uncommon criminal. But with what has gone on in the media, and the political atmosphere that we have, the division, which has introduced so much BS and conjecture into this, it is a full time job trying to sort the wheat from the chaff.

For me, much depends upon the findings of Mueller. I have to place trust in him, and if trump is a criminal, if he was involved in a conspiracy with putin, then impeach him and remove him from office. But at some point, rationality and reason should end this witch hunt of the democrats, although I have no illusion that this will happen. We live in times of toxic politics, that appears to be childish, infantile behavior, and I am not ok with it. I think this is our reality and it gets reaffirmed almost each and every day as I read this forum and listen to the news, which I get from CSPAN and journalists like greenwald. I do not give the anti trump propaganda outlets such as CNN and MSNBC the time of day, given it is self evident these are not genuine news organization, which is easily determined by the total lack of integrity and standards of journalism. Colleges must no longer teach what journalistic integrity and journalistic standards entail? So we have a generation of people who are clueless? Ignorance is our great enemy in a republic.

Marc Thiessen on Special Report on Fox said Trump's presidency would be effectively over, if this were true. It wasn't just "liberal media" that was talking about this and forecasting doom.

Virtually everyone at the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Justice Department involved in the FBI's counterintelligence probe of candidate Donald Trump knew from the beginning that the investigation, dubbed "Crossfire Hurricane," was based on shaky opposition research compiled by a Trump-hating former British spy and funded by Hillary Clinton's campaign.
Bruce Ohr, the demoted associate attorney general, testified to Congress last August that he repeatedly warned top officials at the FBI and DOJ about Steele's bias and Fusion GPS's conflicts of interest, yet this information was kept hidden from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.​

And to add insult to injury, instead of investigating the officials who actively participated in the dossier hoax, Special Counsel Robert Mueller hired several of them to be on his team to investigate President Trump.

Ohr testified that he stressed that the information he was sharing came from Trump's political opponents in the Clinton camp and warned that it was unverified and likely biased.​

"When I provided [the Steele information] to the FBI, I tried to be clear that this is source information," he testified. "I don't know how reliable it is. You're going to have to check it out and be aware. These guys were hired by somebody relating to--who's related to the Clinton campaign, and be aware."​

He also told the team that Steele was "desperate that Donald Trump not get elected" and that his own wife, Nellie Ohr, worked for Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm that compiled the dossier.

According to a leaked transcript of Ohr's closed-door testimony to the joint House Judiciary and Oversight and Government Reform Committees last Aug. 28, he waved all these red flags well before the FBI filed its October application for a surveillance warrant against Carter Page.​

Strange that Ohr felt the need to warn the DOJ and FBI about Steele's bias and unreliability, but the DOJ and FBI felt the need to hide these exact same warnings from the FISA court.

And this is also a problem: The "Crossfire Hurricane" team claims to not have known nothin' about no dossier until September 2016, but Ohr says he told the team about it on July 30.

That's important, because the Crossfire team continues lying about whether these unverified dossier reports were used to secure the FISA authorization. Their claim is that they couldn't have relied on the dossier, because they didn't even know about it.

But they did know it, and lied to a FISA court to conceal what they knew about it.

The five top DOJ and FBI officials who signed off on the four successive warrant applications -- James Comey, Andrew McCabe, and Justice Department officials Sally Yates, Dana Boente, and Rod Rosenstein -- appear to have violated statutes.

I have SUGGESTED about a thousand times that anybody who thinks Donald John Trump, personally, has committed a crime should bring forth formal charges, state them, publish them, and then take the issue through all applicable legal courts, channels, etc.
