I hate to disagree with you because we agree on so much. I don't think CNN had any backbone in firing him. He was only doing what CNN does. CNN folded under the pressure. Something in the culture at CNN made him think this was totally acceptable. CNN didn't set any boundaries. He just pushed their narrative past the boundaries that most people will accept. CNN is doing damage control.

It's a good network but I like watching Chris Hayes. He's smart, empathetic and cute. Of course, Don Lemon has all of those qualities, as well.
