    I agree with both of you.

    People who can't support their positions with facts are the people who play the race card and/or the victim card instead.

    This woman shouldn't have needed to be informed of Webb's race, because she should have been able to support her viewpoint without playing the race card.

    She should be ashamed of herself for assuming he was white, and she should be ashamed of herself for being so unable to support her argument that the best she could do was cry "white privilege".

    She did provide some nice political comic relief though :D The radio played a clip of it on the news while I was driving this morning. The clips are still as funny today as they were yesterday.

    Google has more than five pages of search results relating to this story now. (I quit scrolling after the fifth page, who knows how many there are in total.)

    Do you agree or disagree that if Areva Martin's argument was valid, she should have been able to support it without accusing her opposition of white privilege? The fact that he was black makes the story hilarious, but the reality is that she (like so many on the left) couldn't support her argument and so she tried a bullsh*t "white privilege" claim instead, and the left should really try to eliminate this tactic from their repertoire of debating tactics.

    If I was a liberal I too would be embarrassed by the absurdity of identity politics and the fallacy of white privilege and I too would want it to be ignored and swept under the rug

    White males have no legal privileges that I am aware of... I never utilized my Native American Privileges to get money or education. I don't think I'll ever try.
