Life imitates art. I can't wait to see which plague this horde is bringing. More Democrats in Washington?
FACTS MATTER 183,058 inmates are in Bureau of Prisons custody 21% —38,132 are illegal aliens In Texas alone 251,000 illegals have been booked into local jails from 2011-2018 Of 663,000 criminal offenses: 1,351 were homicides 7,156 were sexual assaults
Trump killed the deal before republicans that controlled congress could even vote on the bill - it wasn't so long ago that people forgot and you can try and rewrite history on that one
I am not trying to discredit a statement by saying what about this or that — I am saying both parties are equally as bad. The democrats refuse to do anything period and the republicans just use it as campaign fodder with no actual intention to do anything about it.
How can you expect to be taken seriously when you can't post anything without Immature Group Insults aimed at your Political Opponents? Does that help you a score points with the RW?:smh: Anyway, back on topic, glad to see Mexico taking action. I would like to see more Mexican troops. Carry on, and try to stay away from the Group Insults. Nothing personal, of course. Just some friendly advice. Thanks in advance.
For the last 3+ years, all they have done is lie repeatedly. Remember, in the world of leftism-being wrong is not a negative.
Absurd. Show me one bill on immigration that came across his desk that he rejected. He never did, one never arrived.
This is a common lefty tactic. An attempt to equivocate that lefties retreat to after they can't credibly defend their argument. Both parties are not equally as bad. We aren't stopping these hordes because of democrats.
Well, they have a lot of "personalities" but I am not sure, at least according to this, that both sides are equally bad. Democrats seem to oppose anything and everything. https://ballotpedia.org/115th_Congress_on_immigration,_2017-2018 It needs to get fixed because it's killing border states and bigger cities that get influxed with illegals.
I agree with you both. I think it is silly (and unsupportable) to try to pretend both parties are "equally bad" regarding the illegal immigration issue, when it is the Democrats who have been hellbent on fighting immigration reform. It's like comparing an AK-47 to a pocket knife and saying they're "both bad". Republicans, and Trump in particular, have been very outspoken about their desire to reform immigration and fix the border problem. It is the Democrats who have fought them every step of the way. I'm an Independent, so folks here can take my opinion for whatever they think it's worth, but I'm not beholden to either party. From my outsider's perch, it definitely appears it is the Democrats who are hellbent on obstructing everything ---- nevermind if it is something they supported pre-Trump, or if it's something so common-sense even a blind man could see the benefit ---- they're going to oppose it just to oppose it. If Trump were to say "I refuse to build a wall", the Democrats would probably start construction tomorrow. That's how bad the partisanship has gotten. I'm tired of politicians putting party over country. Our immigration system needs to be overhauled like yesterday. You don't like Trump? Boohoo, I don't care.
I love when Democrats cry about "dey gots no toothspaste!", but they're the ones in the House that creates appropriation bills to buy said toothpaste. Course, they could give a rats ass about AMERICANS who don't haz toothpaste, but yeah.
Not for budgetary appropriations. You know, like funding for a wall. But instead they gave their donors a welfare handout, because they don’t give a **** about illegal immigration, or deficits.
Well, if you're gonna go off-topic like that, then may I ask if you have considered taking your OWN advice there, AJ? Your own words, dude. Start taking your own, ah, "friendly advice". I myself have no problem with sending half our military off to the border and employing a jillion drones to help secure it. I say we match Mexico's army, and then some.
Dems know immigration/border security is perhaps Trumps signature issue. And they know despite all they have done-that he's achieving that. They also know what that means for 2020 and THATS why they are squealing so loud.
