True, CNN kinda does suck. But Fox and MSNBC suck just as much if not more. And then there's stuff like Breitbart, DailyMail, DailyCaller, TheBlaze, Infowars, The Gateway Pundit, and Buzzfeed that suck way way worse. Psuedo-Blogs.

 

Ah I don't think there is much hope for that one.. The Administrative infrastructure is so far leftist in combination with making alot of money off the sensationalism is unsalveagable. Every Bureau chief, Content manager, Senior Producer, Senior Editor would have to be canned. Every single host. Then build back up with strict objective balanced rule sets.

Same for FOX News. Hopeless.

Possible candidates? NPR definitely closest. I could with probably as few as 20 dismissals initially turn it into the the news source every American dreams of for fair, balanced, objective, reporting. That is radio so... TV wise probably CBS has the best opportunity. They show some objectivity from time to time.

Be clear you were talking about your opinion on accuracy. How many % of their stories were fake? Link? Didn't they only have 2 retraction out of 10,000's of stories?

Politifact has them as being more accurate than FOX, viewers more informed than FOX, and multiple studies have them as more trusted than FOX.

But don't get me wrong, both are meh.

I completely stopped watching TV.cable news about 13 years ago. I get all my news online. To me, any corporately owned TV media news is all bullshit. However, CNN used to be the go-to source for news when Turner owned it. Now, it's completely worthless like Fox news.

Why would I accept an untruth since Trump lied and did not save any jobs. Carrier had applied for a tax break from Indiana and that supposedly was based on a promise to save jobs and it had nothing to do with Trump at all nor with Pense. It was was the Induana state legislature that gave the tax break and Oense signed it as an absentee landlord would. One more time Trump had nothing to do with saving and jobs at Carrier he just tried to steal the limelight as a Lying King does.

 

Trump isnt responsible for the final decisions carrier makes about its employees. Thats up to them. Send more jobs to mexico...since when did you guys ever care about that?

 

I would rather them just state the news without a glaring political bias.

Only news show I ever watch or listen to anymore is The Five on Fox. And even then I only pay attention is Gutfled and Dana Parino are on.

I agree, CNN has earned it's nickname "Conservative News Network" for a good reason. They worked so very hard to put Trump in office.

And it didn't help them. The Trumpflakes still stabbed them in the back. Look at 'em here, raging because CNN was only 99% faithful to DerParteiRepublikkan.

Saying that, I would love Fox to have a show with Ebony Williams, Kat Tempf, Dana Perino, and Greg Gutfeld. A left leaning centrist(Ebony), a right leaning centrist(Dana), and 2 libertarians.

 

Then why Fox and Breibart are still around. Both are merchants of fake news and dimwit conspiracy theories.
