The Washington Post quoted the statements made by others, so they were not guilty. It has no reflection on the lawsuits against the medias where actual opinions were given. We will have to wait and see, besides there is also the Supreme Court - not that you'll find out anything other than what the liberal media wants to impress in your mind. The Trump Russia collusion comes to mind. I will know though, since I read actual news sources.

Wanna bet on how long it will be before the CNN and NBC lawsuits meet the same fate?

PS: Still waiting on those Biblical abortion references...

A law based on what? Do you really think our laws were pulled out of thin air? Then you're living in a world of illusions because everything has a foundation, and the foundation of our laws are the Ten Commandments - and they just happened to have been given to Moses by God.

And this just happens to be the same God that furthered them in Christianity - which you don't believe exists. Brilliant, just brilliant! :confuse:

Were there no laws before the 10 commandments? Where did they come from?

Most laws are based on the reduction of harm.

The case was tossed by the judge as frivolous and against the freedom of speech...still....it must make places like FOX very nervous.

Let me educate you. The Bible is a compilation of writings that enlightened Saints found to be the true Word of God. These same Saints gave us their enlightened interpretations and Holy Tradition. If they were faulty in their interpretations, then they had to have been faulty in their compilation of the Bible. Take your pick.

Most of the laws were probably due to fear, that's why they tried to appease the (demon) gods with human sacrifice. Our 'Creator' God began to reveal gradually that He consisted of 'Virtue' to Abraham when He stopped him from sacrificing his son - which at that time and place was common practice.

Later on God gave Moses the Ten Commandments. Someone asked Jesus why he was condemning something that Moses did not condemn (I believe it was divorce, but I'm not sure), and Jesus said that at that time and place people were not prepared for it.,

I didn't say it was faulty, you said it was faulty. I said that you can pick on whether you consider it faulty or not. I think the Bible is the Word of God, as long as one's interpretation is enlightened by the Holy Spirit.

"The Bible is a compilation of writings that enlightened Saints found to be the true Word of God"

All humans are faulty, or were these "Saints" as perfect as the Christ in their interpretations?

Which of course is why all highly religious people believe the same thing.

Oh wait, no one agrees. Well there you have a problem. Or do you have magical insights?

Only Christ is perfect, but if someone is highly virtuous they will be enlightened by the Holy Spirit in their decisions. There have been times when Saints have disagreed - which reminds me of a joke about two Irish Saints. One kept insisting he was on land and kept throwing rocks at the other, who kept insisting he was on water and kept throwing fish back at him.

Anyway the guarantee that an interpretation is by the Holy Spirit would be by its unanimity. If they all agree then the decision or interpretation is correct. Then again if someone does disagree, they might get punched like Arius did by Saint Nicholas.

    How was the punch Arius?

So...in other words the "Saints" and Bible(S) are flawed. Then they got edited and translated by more flawed people who also removed big chunks in the process.

The disagreements are usually minor and cultural. If they do go against actual Christian teachings on the Holy Trinity, the Resurrection, and the Incarnation then they shouldn't be calling themselves Christian.

That's a very negative approach and more in tune to a the false god of negation than the Christian God of Creation and Love.. A better outlook would be that people are flawed, and became more perfect in virtue as time progressed. If it were not so, Jesus Christ would not have superseded the Mosaic laws with a superior one called God's Grace. This is the love and comfort in our hearts, given to us by God's Holy Spirit when we accept Christ's redemption for our sins and repent.

I got to laugh as Hamilton did indeed die from a duel with the then Vic president of the US once more I suggest you read a few history books so you do know what the hell you are talking about.

Footnote duelings was not really legal at the time but it was mostly not prosecuted for example Burr was charge with murder in both NY where he died and NJ where he was shot but both charges was drop.

Strange having a sitting Vic President with two murder warrants out for him from two states at the same time.

You have to laugh as the first time old Moses came down the mountain with the ten commandments under his arms and found his people misbehaving he order his most loyal followers to kill among the tribes until they could no longer move their swords.

So must for the ten commandments when the powers to be such as Mosses are annoy.

From the age of ten or eleven I could never understand how anyone could grant any credit to the bible.

Footnote most of our government and laws was base on the early Roman Republic by our founders.

And I can quote those 'enlightened saints' giving instructions on how to induce an abortion. Still waiting for you to stop the equivocation and provide a bible quote that says abortion is a sin...

It was the very Christian Emperor Justinian who compilated and revised the thousands of Roman laws in the 6th century. It was a monumental job. We still use those laws today. Justinian by the way built Aghia Sophia.
    .
In pagan Rome, it was okay to use Christians as torches to light up the games. Great laws there.

Did I not say early Roman republic dating back before Christianity an before the games became common not the Empire period?

Note the games did not stop or slow down once the Christians was in power only the victims in the games change.

The loving Christians also had a charming habit of lighting up the night with people they saw as non-believers like myself an long long after the fall of the Western Roman Empire.

Isn't the Ten Commandments part of the Bible, and doesn't it say thou shall not kill?

Oh, then Christians do not consider killing a sin? Interesting!

Actually the chariot games continued, and I believe the stadium in Constantinople could hold 60 thousand people, but not the gladiators.

    CNN = Fake news.

Their ratings have dropped, what, ~30% in total since Trump's inauguration? You know you're bad when cartoon channels have more viewers than you.
