When Kaepernick showed up to Atlanta last month, he brought along several receivers with him, including Bruce Ellington, Brice Butler, Jordan Veasy and Ari Werts. Out of that group, Veasy became the first one to land a deal this week when he was signed to the Redskins practice squad.

ROFL! They NFL must have been impressed with this guy's ability to catch balls thrown by a lousy QB.

As a note, Kaepernick's problem is not his arm. It's not his ability to run. He has a great arm and he moves well. It's also not bigoted, or political owners. His real problem is his total inability to "check down", or go to the next receiver option if his primary target is covered. He has no field vision. NFL Defenses figured that out and keyed on tough early coverage of his receivers, because they knew he could not find and complete passes to his secondary or third target options. The 49ers figured it out too and sent him to work out with Kurt Warner (awesome HOF QB with great check down abilities) for an entire summer. When Kaepernick came back, he sucked even worse and they 49ers knew he was a bust.

No team wants a back up QB, that can't check down, and who pisses off 50% of their fan base.

Good job to Jordan Veasy for using the SJW QB to get a contract.

I'm not a fan of football and I don't want but I've heard that Kaepernick wasn't that great of a player.

I've never heard anyone talk about his game history in a positive light. Just whether he has the right to kneel during the national anthem while representing his company/team.

I think the reason why nobody will sign him it's mostly because he's not that good. And because he's not that good the circus isn't worth it.

If he was an All-Star and decided to put in self front and center in the circus then I think people would have tolerated the circus to have him.

If he decided not to become a clown in his own one man circus he'd likely get a contact.

Kaepernick's fame was the product of his Coach. Jim Harbaugh was brilliant and knew what he can get away with in regards to the NFL rules at the time Kap was his QB and the 49ers made their run to the SB.

Once the NFL changed the rules the next season allowing defenses to actually lay a hand on him, the pistol offense became obsolete and Harbaugh eventually went on to bigger and better things in Michigan. Well, except for getting his ass kicked every year by Ohio State.

Kaepernick is one of those QBs that had a different skillset than most QBs in the league. I remember watching a game of his in college and I noted at the time that he was big, had a big arm, and could run.

The problem is that after he played in the NFL for awhile there was tape to study his tendencies. He could never overcome that.

Trump latched onto the kneeling protests as a way to punish the NFL. Trump tried to buy the Buffalo Bills and the owners said "no". Trump started the USFL and owned the New Jersey Generals. When that league went bankrupt Trump asked the NFL to absorb his General team. Again they said no.

The whole thing was an ax to grind for Trump. That's real talk.

I can't and won't judge the man. Anyone that doesn't have a bias knows he was not disrespecting the Troops. To go even deeper, those same troops fight to ensure Kaepernick has the right of free speech. That, however, does not extend to your employer. Free speech only keeps you from being punished by the gov't for that speech. NFL teams have a right to say no thanks.

Edit- And WOW she is beautiful.

He made a series of professional, and arguably personal mistakes.

Im approaching 40 and a male but she isn't beautiful if she screwed up that mans life.

His parents adopted him and did the best they can.

He has every right to fade into irrelevance.

    Congrats.

Pro sports are the ultimate meritocracy. If he was good enough, a team would make him an offer. Speaking of which, HE is the one who walked away from his job in the NFL in the first place!

Poor Kaepernick. Cry me a river. He decided to disrespect America as part of his attention whoring political "activism"; he deserves whatever bad has happened as a result. Most patriotic Americans don't take kindly to his kind of sh*t.

Maybe some America-hating SJW can buy a football team and hire him.....

I’m sure as he lays in bed on top of his millions of dollars, he’ll get real concerned about his relevance.

Oh you’re exactly right to he’s a lousy quarterback but he’s a hell of a lot better than a bunch of guys that are on teams, for example Brian Hoyer.

If Brian Hoyer was a distraction and alienating half of the fan base of his company I think you'd see the last of brian hoyer in the nfl.

Personally I didn't have any problem with any of Kaepernick's opinions I had a problem with him taking a knee during the national anthem. Frankly he could have taken a taken a knee for titty cancer during the national anthem and I'd still tell him to piss off.

Yes, in the land of the free and the home of the brave, he dissented in a very public way.

    Pathetic!

REAL Patriotic Americans don't disrespect American Troops who spend years in the hell of prisoner war to then be have their service disparaged by the attention-whoring attacks by lying, draft-dodging hypocrite politicians who sell America out for fake political "activism" to make his personal power look better to clueless followers.

Maybe that America-hating billionaire can buy his own football team and refuse to hire the players based on merit rather than his fake "patriotism".

In an era where no one is allowed to be offended this guy intentionally offended tens of millions of people and the NFL along with others supported his antics to disrespect this country based on race and one sided statistics. I've lost all interest in the NFL and haven't watch a game since week 3 three years ago.

"No one is allowed to be offended"?

Our President intentially offends a majority of voting Americans regularly, not just the garbage this slimebag gives America from his sad commentary of his perversion of American values.

His antics are never-ending, and his bigotry and hatred for true American values is a travesty.

Please, allow the NFL to never sulley your mind again!

You sir are correct. The NBA proved the same with their support of Communist China over the Hong Kong protestors.

Correct, no one is allowed to be offended.

Want a straight pride club? Nope, its offensive.
How about a MAGA hat or bumper sticker? Nope, its offensive.

Put up a cross you say? Nope.

Were American flag clothes to school? Nope.

Moment of silence on 911? Nope.

And then there are all the things we cant do because they're racist and that offends people. Things like hair styles and sweaters are offensive
