Until he submits, he will remain a target. That's what it's all about.

In Jack's case, he wasn't able to use his creative, artistic skills to make a custom wedding cake specific to the gay couple's relationship, because Jack believes that marriage is strictly between a man and a woman. He has no concept of gay marriage, so how can he express it in any way?

it's the same cake, had he sold them the cake and said he would not add the names, fine, but denying them the exact same cake they advertise as for sale is wrong and false advertising

How can a custom cake be the "exact same?"

the base wedding cake is the same, the names on the cake is the only difference, the baker refuses to even sell the base cake, thus the problem

no as in a full wedding cake, minus the adding of names or figurines

the cakes they advertise as for sale

if one can vote for an adulterous President, they can bake a cake

Sorry, are you actually under the impression that all that goes into an artistically created custom cake, created by someone using their artistic expression, is the printing of two names and some figurines? Surely you can't be serious!

they sell wedding cakes, they don't have to, they can stop

are you saying a cake changes based on who buys the cake?

when you buy a wedding cake, you look at the display or pick from a catalog of wedding cakes and pick

it's false advertising as well as discrimination if one sells wedding cakes and then refuse to sell them based on race or gender of the couple

I would actually agree with you here, IF Jack did NOT make CUSTOM wedding cakes and instead simply had a bunch of pre-designed cakes in a catalogue for people to choose from.

that is like saying a restaurant can discriminate as there food is severed to order

they advertise they sell wedding cakes, they need to sell them without discriminating based on race or gender, if they can't do that, don't sell them

Are you saying that custom means made to order?
