Gangs play a part in a lot of cities. there are no taxes collected, there is no service to the community, they are a plague or disease in the community. there is not enough space in jails for them. even if we were to offer them jobs, they would still sell drugs. if we were to get rid of the drugs, they would turn to muggings and robberies. this is the problem we face. To get rid of all the gangs we first need to decide what to do with them. even sending them to jail would result in prison gangs and more gangsters. wherever they go they will breed more gangs. Maybe if we were to, lacking all other ideals, kill all of them, would that be the right solution?
Of course, it would be nicer if they could kill each other, but, this is against the law. placing them under house arrest would be cheap and quick - put burglar bars on their homes and do not allow them to leave, yes? Okay, now to identify the gangs? If we were to identify criminals, and, then their immediate 'circles,' we could find the gangs quickly.
Biggest Gang that create other gangs is the DNC. All major cities were gangs are prevalent are democratic run (detriot, Baltimore, Philly, Chicago,LA,Oakland, Miami,) Ghettos which are breeding ground for gangs are a liberal idea. Badly run corrupt public schools edumacate these kids... edumucate them to be professional victims, and excuse any behavior. You want to end gangs, or limit them? Stop voting Democrate, and tell your friends to do the same.
Maybe we should brain wash them? we could put posters up in gang areas where we show gangsters dying and academics thriving? naturally though, the gangs will tear them both down and use them as weed paper 'splifs' in joints, yes? Okay, so, we need to have the communities join the neighbor hood watch? this would mean, all of society is out to get the gangsters! this would be great! they don't need tattoos, they just got to be able to assault the gangs, and, this can be justified in court too; If there is a war, it is up to the people to fend for themselves. there is a war between gangs and civilians, always has been. it is not official, maybe observing corporal punishment, by it's official name, would justify this beating upon beating?
To get rid of gangs for good, they could bring back corporal punishment for them. a good beating would see them give it up! Or, they could try to use convicts to go out and bring back gangsters - if they do not, their parole gets canceled. worst comes to worst, they will eliminate other gangs, yes? To house all the gangs, they could renovate old warehouses? it would be cheap to build wire mesh cells in old warehouses, yes?

So your saying if we lock up all of the American druggies there would be no gangs ? We had gangs before we had a drug problem in America. Maybe the gangs made the drug problem worse ?

Killing is not the answer. It's an uphill battle to stop gangs but love and patience is a good stepping stone.
