Comey confirms FBI probe into Trump-Russia collusion

As I recall, wasn't WMD the justification for going to war in Iraq? So wasn't it before 2004? But I find it interesting. Prior to Obama's election in 2008, the Left shared the same disdain for the intellectual community. But after Obama's election, you suddenly have renewed confidence and faith in the people who tell you to 'believe' that they have high confidence!

Tom: What's been presented so far, wouldn't even past muster in a courtroom. You have to convict beyond reasonable doubt, and there's so much doubt that it isn't even presentable. Comey has MUCH to do before presenting this as a case.

Here's what we approximately know, tell me if I'm regurgitating anything out of right-wing circles and if so I'll retract:

-Sometime around June 2016(Mid-way through the Election Season.) The DNC was hacked(Allegedly), the breach of several files. At this time, also, there was a contest between the Clinton/Sander camps over Voter Contact lists. Are we clear so far?

-According to Comey, in July of 2016 their investigation into Donald J. Trump/Russian connections began. `

-It's been said that the Russians tried to access the RNC networks as well, but that they were better protected than the DNC's.

-The main 'smoking gun' came from analytical contractors who linked the attacks to Cozy Bear and Fancy Bear. Russian Hacking Operatives.

Now, here's where I start asking questions: Let's say I acknowledge that there was hacking, how do we know for sure that these hacking operations were authorized for/by the Russian Government? We don't. That's the FIRST freaking red flag here, and it hasn't been raised by anyone D/R. We have no concrete proof that these operations were approved by the Russian Government. What we have are programs coded in Russian. Anyone literate in Russian language and proficient in hacking, could probably execute those techniques.

State Actors aren't the only ones who've tried to hack governments in the past. We know that black hatters have tried in the past to criminally hack our systems and have at times succeeded. We also know the government employs said hackers sometimes to improve their own security. This is all historically recorded fact.

So this is one crucial point of questioning: What evidence can be shown that the Russian Government or agents acting on behalf of the Russian Government were aware of this operation? We haven't seen any as of yet. That's not to say it's not there. But if it was there, you'd have even the alt-righters calling for Trump's head.

Here's the Second Question(and the one compelling ALL of us right now, Left or right): What evidence, IF any of collusion? Here, too, we just don't know. We do of course know and what you've pointed out: Previous contacts by Manafort, Page, etc. But these are not acts of collusion. Not even Flynn's contact is an act of collusion since Flynn didn't make any promises about the sanctions, they just "talked" about the sanctions.

This is something that one of the Senators elaborated on during the meeting when he asked "if anyone could be prosecuted just for having a picture". Collusion has to be PROVEN, not merely accused of. Comey, nor any other Democrat has met that standard.

The closest to an act of collusion, is nothing that any member of the Trump Organization or Administration did but Trump himself: Trump said publicly that if the Russians had the information on Hillary(from hacking), they should release that information.

Now, if we were REALLY serious about the investigation, we'd focus on the "man in the house", bring him before Congress and ask: Did you know that the Russians were responsible for the hack(prior to receiving intelligence) and did you collaborate with them on the hacking?

These are the questions that need to be asked, and aren't being asked.

When you read this you would think WOW !!!!! hundreds of millions of dollars given to the Clinton Foundation, keeping in mind that bill is former President of the United States of America and his wife is currently Secretary of State at the time .So, Do you believe that this Trump collusion with Russia is so much more involved or dangerous then what the Clintons have done ? Do you remember hearing even one "Journalist" from MSM bringing it up ? Yet alone 24/7 non stop coverage about collisions with Russia? I sure can't recall hearing much about it , how bout you ? Would you consider both Clinton and Trump are being treated equally ? Or do you quite possibly see a little bit of bias in favor for anything Democrat?

 

You shouldn't care whether I hate Trump. You should care that the President of the United States is actively under investigation by the FBI and the DOJ for potential collusion with Russia.

 

They don't care. That's the point and the dead giveaway of how these folks are the furthest anyone can ever be from being patriotic Americans.

Of course there's an investigation. They're gonna try and get all the mileage they can out of this Russia thing. I believe Trump was absolutely being "wiretapped" one way or another. We all are. It would be naive to think otherwise. Comey is lying, or there is no evidence that he has found. You don't have to look too far back to see that he is not very reliable.
