Comey DELETED Obama’s Name From Hillary Hacked Emails Report

WASHINGTON — Former FBI director James Comey is vulnerable to a possible obstruction of justice charge for his conduct in the Hillary Clinton email investigation. Comey deleted Barack Obama’s name from the Bureau’s report to conceal Obama’s knowledge of the illegal server, and also deleted evidence that Clinton’s emails were hacked by foreign adversaries.

Comey’s firing by President Donald Trump in 2017 is at the center of Comey’s friend Robert Mueller’s attempt to charge President Trump for obstruction of justice. Mueller previously announced that he would try to wrap up an obstruction case by September 11, having found no evidence of Trump-Russia collusion. Mueller will try to argue that Trump fired Comey because Comey was investigating General Flynn and the Russia case.

But Comey’s own deletion of important records to protect Obama and Clinton — not to mention his leaking of classified information to the press and his own statement under oath that he does not believe Trump obstructed justice — could be the final nail in the coffin of Mueller’s case.

Inspector general Michael Horowitz’s report reveals Comey’s duplicity.

“A statement that the FBI assessed that it was “reasonably likely” that hostile actors gained access to Clinton’s private email server was changed to “possible,’” according to the report, on page iv.

“A paragraph summarizing the factors that led the FBI to assess that it was possible that hostile actors accessed Clinton’s server was added, and at one point referenced Clinton’s use of her private email for an exchange with then President Obama while in the territory of a foreign adversary. This reference later was changed to “another senior government official,” and ultimately was omitted,” the report states, on page iv.

Thus, James Comey deleted Barack Obama’s very name in order to conceal the extent to which her emails were breached by foreign actors.

The fact that Clinton and Obama were swapping emails on her non-secure private server in “the territory of a foreign advisory” presents a clear argument to charge both Clinton and Obama with an Espionage Act violation.

Looks like Trump is one of the few involved that did NOT obstruct justice.

Presidents Nixon and Clinton, who were investigated for obstruction, tampered with witnesses, which is an illegal act. (Clinton was impeached but not removed from office; Nixon would have been impeached and removed had he not resigned.) President Trump, by contrast, has not committed any overtly illegal act.

Hhe fired the FBI director; he urged the attorney general to renounce his recusal from the investigation and resume supervision of it; and he threatened to fire the special counsel. Regardless of what one thinks of these actions from the standpoint of judgment and policy, they are incontestably constitutional prerogatives of the chief executive.

There is no plausible theory under which Trump’s non-actions are criminal or are evidence of criminality.

The Mueller investigation is not about prosecuting Trump. Rather, it’s an unconstitutional impeachment inquiry being conducted by Obama holdovers and Clinton Donors.

There’s nothing to stop Democrats from impeaching Trump if they win control of the House. However, an impeachment based on actions Trump didn’t take — getting Sessions or a replacement to oversee the Mueller investigation and/or firing Mueller — would be an absurdity. So would an impeachment based on the firing of Comey, given that, at the time of his firing, the former Director had found no evidence of collusion with Russia and given that the firing did not halt the Russia investigation and could not reasonably have been expected to do.

Comey was the clean up man, making sure that Barry could not and would not be implicated in HIllary's email disaster and that her many illegalities would be covered up too. His actions deserve their very own Special Prosecutor looking into things.

 

Seems obvious Obama’s name was omitted so if she was hacked (something there’s no evidence of) they wouldn’t know it was him.

Having another Special Council come in and clean up these messes would be a dream. A dream I do not see happening. We live in a world of double standards where it seems the left breaks the law at will and nobody holds them accountable. I could imagine your outrage if one was appointed. Even worse if the FBI started predawn raids on them. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I think several of us have been making this observation since 2015 or so....

 

I can determine what is BS and what isn't. We need a 2nd Special Council to dig into the crimes that have been swept under the carpet by the Obama Administration. What we have now is a Special Council that has no interest in Russian Collusion. It is interested in impeaching Trump and keeping Hillary Clinton out of jail. It's also interested in keeping Obama from answering some very grave questions that could lead to a civil war.

 

So why is the GOP Congress and WH not doing what you believe and wish? Tks.

I think the thing that actually bothers me the most about this is that the information has been around for so long. It's been obvious, from it's inception of the investigation into the Clinton private email server, that ms Clinto and mr Obama were sending themselves email in violation of the national records act. Second, that their email had been potentially hacked, and had been available to foreign governments. So, we have two things, not just the potential for the email to have been hacked, but the use itself is a problem. That the email was also then offloaded and transferred to Huma, and her Weiner, this seems just more justification that the information was ultimately shared with another foreign power, Saudi Arabia. And now, we see the liberal fence hastily erected around their royals, all to defend the idea that their legacies cannot be besmirched by the illegal, unethical, and monumentally stupid actions while in office.
