There was also a report out that IG Horowitz recommended criminal referrals for Comey to Barr for leaking and lying.

Comey should have been given a chance to explain himself to a grand jury long ago.

Comey had SOME memos at home ... all classified ... and 2 "missing" according to Comey. That seems "extremely careless". Comey had better pray that Durham's a "resonable prosecutor" who wouldn't charge anyone for gross negligence.

Isn't there an Espionage Act? Is that law only for the "little people"?

Barr is passing on this case. He wants Comey on FISA.

I'm not convinced Barr is passing. It'd be unwise to forfeit the leverage an indictment gives him. If Horowitz submits a referral that's going to be hard to ignore. The AG contradicting the recommendation of the DOJ's internal watchdog? I read where Horowitz said the IG itself was going to decline prosecution some weeks ago. But if Horowitz declined because he referred it to the AG to prosecute ... Comey's getting indicted IMO.

If he has done something illegal then charge him, otherwise let him off.

Wouldn't it be nice if it were that simple.

The leaking, intentionally and lying about it is going to be the crux of why Comey gets indicted, if he does.

I'm confident Solomon is reporting exactly what his sources have told him ... but, the IG report is going to drop eventually. If Graham, Jordan, Meadows etc, etc. get informed AG Barr ignored the IG's criminal referrals, Barr's life will become miserable. The simplest move is to have Durham take Horowitz referral, add nothing to it, no additional evidence or theories, straight to the grand jury. Obama's hold-over IG -vs- Obama's hold-over FBI director.

"Flip and Fry". I like it.

Itchy Jim Clapper has already fingered Obama for orchestrating the whole thing, so all Jimmy the Weasel can shed light on is the depth of his involvement. Of course, Obama will say he just found about it in the media, so it's going to be the word of one raging sociopath against another, i.e., Liar vs. Liar.

Funny, I always thought Singin' Andy McCabe would be the snitch who ratted everyone out to save his own worthless hide...

Graham was on FOX last night and said putting a hold on Comey's leak prosecution for now may be a wise move, you want to lead with your strongest case, which will be FISA court abuses. Or this could be included in any future FISA-related indictments.

Another strangely liberal-free thread, you know, the ones who say nobody is above the law, transparency, etc.

Seems to have been a culture of carelessness with classified material during the Obama admin. This explains why Putin had it so easy. Or was this Obama being more flexible

Disgusting but typical of Washington and our two-tiered "justice" system. The Swamp protects its own...

The lack of indictment goes to show that this is all a trump-wing fever dream and desperate trumpian defense against the Mueller investigation and his report, which is, as a growing majority know, very damning for the Criminal in Chief.

    Might not be over, yet.....

The report related to Comey’s leaks is separate from Horowitz’s review of alleged Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) abuses. That report’s release is delayed, according to sources, due to the potential components of Attorney General Bill Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham’s investigation into alleged improper government surveillance.

If Barr wants to restore the people's confidence in the DOJ and our justice system he has got to start prosecuting the scofflaws in Washington who break the law. If Trump is serious about "draining the Swamp" he must insist on this and ride herd on his subordinates himself.
