And 100% of that opinion on MSNBC is filtered through the liberal strainer, where on Fox, those opinions expressed are far more balanced.
No doubt. - - - Updated - - - Then I would suggest you listen to MSNBC, at least then you understand the slant.
I've been watching MSNBC lately, and have found most of the hosts reasonable (although Chris Matthews can be hard to tolerate sometimes). The thing about Fox News is that both commentators and hosts alike on that network, refer to coverage as "the media" as if Fox News is not part of the media. Like, hello? You're a major network, therefore you're part of the media. And Fox News isn't really fair and balanced, those with more left-leaning views are almost always interrupted by the hosts, or not allowed to speak. And most of the time, its Republican Senators, Governors, and representatives from right-leaning publications that make appearances on the network. Not really fair and balanced. The hosts are entertaining though to watch, well some of them. Some of downright nauseating.
I will say that I don't really watch either channel, but from my understanding FOX is a lot more "Right Wing" so opinion would depend on political standings. I myself am a moderate, so I don't really care.
FOX gets ratings because the ENTERTAIN audiences because its TELEVISION. Ratings don't make any of the stories credible, it makes them entertaining. All cable news is biased to advertising. Read your news instead from credible newspapers and magazines from various sources to form your own opinions.
Apparently Fox News propagandizes watchers. Is any media outlet the last word on what's true and what isn't true? Does the Left ever propagandize or scare-monger?: http://www.autostraddle.com/this-is...investigation-of-the-propaganda-cycle-297107/ This Is How Fox News Brainwashes Its Viewers: Our In-Depth Investigation of the Propaganda Cycle Profile photo of Heather HoganPosted by Heather Hogan on September 2, 2015 at 12:57pm UTC 2016 presidential primary season is in full swing, which means, among other things, that Fox News ratings are skyrocketing. Fox News has been the most watched cable news network in the country for 12 straight years, regularly pulling in more viewers than CNN and MSNBC combined. During the first Republican primary debate of this season, Fox clocked its most-ever (24 million) viewers, making the two-hour show the highest-rated non-sports cable telecast of all time. Over the last ten years, everyone I know has lost a friend or family member or mentor to Fox News. Like me, they have watched helplessly as people they love have become part of the conservative punditry herd and, over time, traded their compassion for paranoia; their thoughtful opinions for manufactured outrage; and their empathy for hateful rhetoric. These people these moms and dads and aunts and uncles and grandparents and brothers and sisters and pastors and politicians and friends have been deceived into believing that Fox News and Fox-approved talk radio hosts provide the only commentary they can trust.
