Actually, it was quite earth shattering. Just three weeks ago the dem candidate was up by over 7 pts.

Got a link to that poll because everything I've read called it a tight race.

But they love gardners with leaf blowers and Mexican push carts.

The race was competitive because the entrenched NC RP had begun to stink like most entrenched political establishments.

And because of this DP advantage:

"Democrat Dan McCready has a 5-1 financial edge over Republican Dan Bishop with less than two months to go before the special election in the 9th Congressional District."
CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, McCready has 5-1 financial edge over Bishop heading into special 9th District vote, BY JIM MORRILL
    JULY 16, 2019 10:34 AM, UPDATED JULY 17, 2019.
    https://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/politics-government/election/article232616547.html

You are right - Trump won that race.
But he could only do that because Bishop was a rare aggressive RP slugger.

McCready, the DP candidate, did everything but endorse Trump to win that race.

Lesson: Democrats who want to keep their seats in 2020 need to endorse Trump - stat. ;-)

"McCready has “spent two years distancing himself from left-wing Democrats,” per my colleague Dave Weigel. “He pledged not to support Nancy Pelosi for House speaker. He opposed impeachment. He returned a donation from Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota after she suggested that Israel's advocates were buying off Congress. In an interview, he also rejected an idea that had burned through the presidential primary: allowing noncitizens to be covered by Medicare.”

Funny that Democrats didn't need to do that in 2018.

The DP won in 2018 because 45 RINOS retired to avoid being kicked out of office. The Democrats who won those read seats were pinks like McCready.

They will have to turn bright red to keep those seats.

No, they don't. You are suggesting they do, so give us the specifics: be very specific. Trump needs more votes. He got less last night than in 2016, and that in red state, yes.

The status quo will not cut it for Trump.

He needs to pick up votes, not stay still.

Will this was almost enough to get McCready over the finish line first - twice.

We are talking about Trump in 2020, so your moving the goal posts fails.

The Democrats in California figured out how to win elections and flip red districts to blue.

    Motor Voter and ballot harvesting.

Those polls showed as much as a 5 point lead for McCready and Bishop won by 2.

So there were none. You made it up. You made it up just like the guy earlier in the thread who claimed the Democrat had a "huge lead".

I gave you the polls. If you choose not to believe them that is on you. Holy ****, you lost. Time to accept that fact.

You made a fib. You guys tried to make out that the win in District 9 was a big deal but it was not - it's in a red state. No big deal. Predictable outcome, except to you for some reason.

    Maybe politics isn't your thing.

You need to accept that you will be checked out every time you post this stuff and exposed.

The races in red districts were much closer this time than last.

That means pink and purpling districts in the South are headed Democratic.

"No public polling showed Bishop trailing Democrat Dan McCready by such a large margin. Bishop campaign consultant Jim Blaine said at one point the Republican trailed by about 14 percentage points."

Post the poll where the Pub candidate trailed by 14 or so points. Posting what a campaign aide said does not count.

Thanks for conceding that you are merely reporting unverified material.

In fact, the polls were much, much closer. They have been posted.

The narrow victory most likely shows that people are fleeing New York and the other hell holes their policies have created . They are looking for a better quality of life. Oregon and Washington experienced the same thing. Turned red to blue because of invaders.
