The most fascinating but perhaps least discussed part of the SOTU was the standing ovation given by both sides of the aisle to the presence of the US issued imposter Juan Guaido.

Congress made it extremely clear that they support the suppression of democratic processes around the world, and that they support our setting up puppet governments around the world. The US government officially took the stand that it supports and practices meddling in elections around the world.

Yes, many of us already knew that, but it was nice to see Congress giving its official stamp of approval, a standing ovation no less, for the suppression of democracy in other countries.

    Any thoughts or comments?

If the Venezuelans want to vote for a socialist dictator because they think the government will provide all their needs, I say let them have what they want. If they are that stupid, they get what they get.

Jaun Guaido is no different than Maduro.

The people vote in leaders not dictators. It is none of our business . Yet any time a socialist is elected we work hard to undermine any improvement for their people. We want our big capitalists to profit like hell from the resources of other nations. And we support the rich elites in those nations. But dont care about their poor that are in great numbers.

Up until the price of oil dropped the people of Venezuela were happy with the socialism. And by god we couldn't put up with that!

You're absolutely right, it's none of our business. If their Democracy votes in a Dictator, that's on them. They can vote again. I don't give two shits about Venezuela. They are neither an asset or ally to the United States. They mean nothing. Just like hundreds of other countries in the World that only want us for foreign aid.

I would not have introduced him. Venezuela will eventually work out their lives. We do not need to take sides. Let the people speak, good or bad. Freedom also means letting the people decide their leader, one way or the other, violence or votes.

I understand what you're saying, but it's slightly incorrect.

Guaido IS different than Maduro in many ways. The former is an imposter serving Washington DC, and the latter is legitimately elected.

You might have missed the point of my post. Perhaps I put it poorly, or perhaps you would rather not contemplate the significance of the event at SOTU.

The point is that Congress proudly demonstrated that it too, along with POTUS, favors crushing the democratic movements in South America.

While it cries about the myth of Russian interference in our election, it proudly practices the same in South and Central America.

Hypocrisy is strong in the US Congress. Are they aware of their hypocrisy? Likely not. Is the electorate aware of it? Likely not.

Karma may be very cruel for the US of A.

And now it has been officially acknowledged and supported by Congress. Overthrowing legitimately elected governments 'r us.
