I think that you are probably thinking about reparations. (You should use spell-check.) To see what they're actually talking about, read Coates' essay, "The case for reparations", in the Atlantic.

Our future isn't looking very bright. The young people who should be buying houses and raising families instead will be paying off student debt til their in their 50s.

Reparations is something that we should do, but we won't.

Reparations are not (not "is not") something we should even be considering or discussing. We are not responsible for the sins of our fathers.

Wrong. Tlaib is no democrat. She is a member of DSA.

    A radical leftist socialist

Believe it or not reperations is a suggested spelling on iPhone, but it also underlined it as a spelling error.

Now to the real subject.... we are on different sides of the fence, but I do have a question that I have not yet heard an answer to & I respect your opinion.

#1 - If we did pay reparations where does it end? Does every black baby with a slave descendent get a check until the end of time?
Does a black baby with slave descendent’s get a check in year 2162 ?

#2 - If we pay reparations, does this allow us to stop affirmative action?

    Now let’s talk student loans.

Say we do forgive every current student loan tomorrow.

What about the people who already paid off their student loans. Do they get nothing?

    What about the future?
Does all college loan payments in the future fall on the tax payers instead of the students?
Do college professors still get the same rate of pay, if tax payers are footing the bill?

Why pay a professor $300k to teach a course when you can force unionize universities and cut their pay drastically?

Do you support cutting the cost of college by slashing professors pay, or do you think tax payers should pay $300k+ to teach a class?
