Idk....if thats an option, as I said before, i think its sour grapes on his part, that he wasnt chosen official leader....I'm hoping the Libs lose enough seats to get into minority status,....at the least.

The NDP should implode, but some of that support will surely go to the Libs!

 

the problem with your trust in polls is an entire segment of the population ignores pollsters...millennials don't respond to pollsters and there's no way to reach them, they ignore on line polls, cell phone polls draw a glance at an unknown number, "meh" followed by *delete call*...we've seen this a few times in alberta, polls showing rightwing hopes of victory only to be dashed when motivated millenials now the largest voting block show up in large numbers(premier Notely and Mayor Nenshi)...the question will always be not be who will they vote for but will they come out to vote?if come out they lean progressive

Trudeau won on the millennial vote stolen from the NDP, millenials are largely progressives they will not vote for regressive anti gay anti environment old conservatives they'd sooner stay home, the best the conservatives can hope for is they don't show up to vote ...

 

NDP supporters will never ever go to conservative ranks in any appreciable numbers....

 

But Mad Max Bernier might just be able to lure them into his new People's Party of Canada and the stakes are pretty high!

Max is attracting radical right white supremacists(Sons of Odin), that may not Berniers his intention but that's who is coming out for his rallies, those types are the antithesis of NDP supporters who won't sit in the same room with them...Bernier won't say he's wants their support but like the Conservative party he won't chase them away either...

 

You can rest assured that Mr. Maxime Bernier will come up with a method of making sure that that
element of Canadian society do not end up in control of the PPC.

He is a very determined man who will figure out how to do that somehow.

he needs warm bodies at his rallies to give the impression of growth, those types will be there just like they're part of the conservative party...he can't shut them up and tell them they're unwelcome because he needs their votes...it's not as if they have anywhere else to go... these xenophobic/homophobic types were the WR party base in Alberta and have now shifted to the new UCP...and he can't keep them out of power, each riding nominates it's own candidates and as we've seen in alberta they do get elected and nominated

UCP has no qualms rubbing shoulders with their hard right base for votes, no NDPer will go anywhere near these types...and Bernier can't stop them form supporting him.

and you can rest assured that if that group takes over the PPC somehow they will have no difficulty coming up with a Wrap Up Smear campaign that will result in my being booted from the PPC much as M. P. Bill Casey was kicked out of the Conservative Party some years ago.
